Kelly Clarkson

There’s a new talk show Diva on the block. American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson is replacing Steve Harvey‘s “Steve” which has been canceled.

“It’s been leaked,” Clarkson said during an appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday.

Clarkson said she was “very excited” and looking forward to starting her new gig in the fall of 2019. Her talk show will replace “Steve” and lead in to the Ellen Degeneres Show on NBC.

Harvey’s “Steve” suffered low ratings when he moved the show’s location from Chicago to Los Angeles after firing the show’s Chicago staff.

Harvey, 61, also made headlines when he ordered the show’s female staffers to stop speaking to him in the hallways and banned them from his dressing room to avoid #MeToo accusations.

Harvey, who is married to fashionista Marjorie Harvey, is being sued by Essie Berry, the widow of the late Fred “Rerun” Berry, who accused him of stalking and harassing her.

Berry is asking $5 million for infliction of mental and emotional distress.
