Lil Durk is lucky to be alive after he was involved in a serious rollover car crash recently. The Chicago drill rapper shared an Instagram photo that showed the wrecked vehicle laying on its side in the street.

Durk didn’t reveal any details about the crash or whether he suffered any injuries. But he shared a photo of himself getting into the driver’s seat of the SUV before the crash.

Durk, 30, captioned the post, “Live life Anyday can be your last SMURK [sic].”

The “Savage” rapper made blog headlines last week after one of his artists, Slimelife Shawty (Wunnie Lee), was released from an Atlanta jail as part of a plea deal.

Slimelife Shawty, a member of Young Thug and Gunna‘s Young Slime Life (YSL) street gang, took a plea deal after spending 7 months in the Fulton County Jail alongside Gunna.

The 24-year-old aspiring drill rapper was quick to throw Gunna under the bus wheels.

In his first statement after leaving jail, Shawty wrote: “Yea, I’m home, ain’t have to snitch to get here…”

The last sentence of his post is translated: “What I didn’t do was say, ‘Yes it’s a fact people in YSL committed crimes like murder, etc.’ I don’t know anything about that.”

His words are considered by many to be a direct diss toward Gunna, who admitted YSL was a gang that needed to end.
