Beyonce’s behind-the-scenes Renaissance World Tour concert movie is expected to gross a disappointing $15 million when it opens on December 1.

According to Deadline.com:

“Don’t put all your chips on Beyonce. Expectations for the concert-documentary movie have dropped down to $15M on the low-end, and it could be lower.”

By comparison, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour grossed over $37 million when it opened in theaters on October 13. So far, Taylor’s concert film has grossed over $178 million in 47 days.

Beyonce popped up uninvited to Taylor Swift’s concert film premiere in Los Angeles. She posed for photos with Taylor on the red carpet before munching popcorn with the pop singer in an empty theater.

While Taylor showed love to her dancers and fans at her premiere, Beyonce didn’t bother to take photos with Destiny’s Child members or anyone else for that matter.

While stars walked the chrome carpet at Bey’s premiere, she slipped in through the back door of the theater. Later, she posted washed out, low contrast photos of herself on her personal website to generate controversy.

Every calculated move by Beyonce to promote her concert film has failed.

Beyonce tried to follow in Taylor’s footsteps by distributing her concert film to theaters directly. But Bey will be lucky if her concert film grosses $40 million in 47 days.

Beyonce and her husband, rap mogul Jay Z were spotted dining out at London’s private members’ club Oswald’s on Wednesday. Check out the photos here.
