Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are back on the market again for the second time in less than a month.
A source tells People.com, they’re “moving in different directions” after dating for 2 years.
“Larsa is focusing on her exciting next chapter now,” a second source says. “She’s always been someone who is ambitious and driven. She needs a match who has those similar qualities.”
Larsa updated her Instagram page on Tuesday, writing, “Humble enough to know I can lose it all. Confident enough to know I can get it all back.”
According to TMZ, this time the breakup is permanent.
Larsa, 49, and Marcus, 33, haven’t been on speaking terms since their last split in mid-February. And “there’s no hope of patching things up in the future.”
Both Larsa and Marcus unfollowed each other on social media after their last breakup.
They also scrubbed photos of each other from their social media pages.
Larsa and Marcus began dating in 2023. The mom-of-four knew Marcus when he was a little boy.
They announced their engagement in a statement to People.com in December.
Larsa told People.com that they were searching for a location to hold their nuptials.
Last month, Larsa and Marcus shared a statement, saying they “decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship.”
“This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth,” the statement read.
Larsa is best known as the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. She is also the ex-bestie of L.A. socialite Kim Kardashian.
Marcus is the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. His famous father publicly disapproved of their relationship.
In July, two media outlets asked Michael if he approved of his son’s relationship with his former teammates’s ex-wife. Both times he responded with an emphatic “No!”
However, Marcus claims he knew ahead of time what his father’s response would be. He said Michael told him not to take it the wrong way.
“We knew ahead of time because he called me and texted me and wanted to make sure that I didn’t take anything the wrong way,” Marcus said during the July 11 episode of their podcast.
In February, Larsa updated her Instagram page:
“The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life,” she wrote. “Your mental health, your peace of mind …. how your children will be raised and much more. Choose wisely.”
