Letter to my Future Wife

Throughout the years Ive dated several types of women. Beautiful, outgoing, spontaneous. You name it! On the flip side, my relationships never last more than 3 years at best.

Not because of chemistry, but more because of differences in worldly views, life purpose, spiritual purpose, skill set, spiritual growth etc…

The most beautiful thing in crossing paths with those women wasn’t just sharing precious moments, but also preparing myself for something greater. You see my brothers and sisters, one of the mysteries of the universe is relationships.

Sometimes we think we know ourself but we can never truly understand ourself on a deeper level until we interact with others. For example you may bring competitiveness out of someone. You may bring jealousy out of someone. You may bring anger out of someone. A person may be blind to what may surface unless a situational test occurs.

Within the genetic structure of every living being contain codes. Within those codes contain instructions. So when you interact with other beings something inside their information will bring out information inside of you. So always remember that relationships are designed to “make you” or “break you.”

Never hold grudges. Never hold resentment and Never hold baggage. Everyone you meet is designed to enhance you but many times we don’t see it that way because emotions may prevent the lesson from being extracted.

Every woman that I met would always have a quality that attracted me but also a flaw that would repel me. So I began to be more patient. Then I realized patience had to be used with discernment and nobody can wait for ever. I would always think to myself if only I could put all these women in just one body lol.

Dealing with me wasn’t a walk in the park either. I too had flaws. I would do more teaching than building. I became a father more than a lover, so I had to learn how to turn teacher mode off and just be a friend at times. I had to learn to be more gentle. I had to learn to listen even if I heard errors. Sometimes we expect people to come to the table wholesome but this jungle we live in will strain you. So the master has to have the necessary skill set to deal with broken vessels.

So for me I found myself too busy playing “clean up man” rather than “lean on man” lol.

If I ever cross paths with any more beautiful women, don’t ever be intimated by my growth. Just have the humility to allow me to guide you. Just have the heart available so that I can heal it. Bring your best shoes and be prepared to grow with me. It will be uncomfortable but it can’t be any other way dealing with me lol.
