Tristan Thompson’s biological father is taking full blame for his son’s promiscuous ways after the Cleveland Cavaliers star was exposed last week for cheating on Khloe Kardashian.
Trevor Thompson said he was not present during the boy’s formative years. He said Tristan would be more faithful to Khloe if he was in his son’s life.
Tristan, 27, was caught in several videos kissing and frolicking with multiple women, mostly strippers in various cities.
Trevor Thompson said he urged his son to get in touch with him immediately after his sexcapades became headline news last week.
Coincidentally, that was the same week that Khloe Kardashian or her surrogate gave birth to the couple’s daughter.
Tristan and new mom Khloe have yet to address the cheating scandal, but reports suggest he is trying to convince the reality TV star his cheating ways are behind him.
Trevor Thompson, who is planning to write a tell-all book about his son, tells OK! Magazine:
“Tristan needs to communicate with his father so he can be a better person to me and to others.”
Trevor also seemed to suggest single moms can’t raise boys to be men.
“If Tristan was communicating with me, these problems would not happen. Mothers can’t get through to the son the way the father would be able to.”
Meanwhile, Khloe revealed her daughter’s name in a social media post.
“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she wrote on Instagram.com. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”
