Former reality TV star Brittish Williams is cooling her heels in a federal prison for misuse of pandemic funds, among other charges.
Last month, the former “Basketball Wives: LA” cast member gave a tell-all interview in which she accused Gordon of being intimately involved in her fraudulent activities.
Williams was arrested on January 12 after failing to turn herself in to the Bureau of Prisons on Jan. 3 to begin serving a 4-year sentence.
In May 2023, she pled guilty to 15 felonies related to credit card theft and bank fraud.
Now her ex-boyfriend, Lorenzo Gordon is facing a federal indictment for PPP fraud.
Gordon first appeared on the VH1 reality TV show “Basketball Wives: LA” in 2014 when he dated Williams.
Williams and Gordon also appeared together on the “Marriage Boot Camp” reality TV series.
They got engaged in 2014 but later split over cheating allegations. The two have a 5-year-old daughter together.
According to Stltoday.com, Gordon, 40, faces three federal charges after the feds caught him lying on an application for a PPP loan.
Gordon faces charges of wire fraud and a single count of theft of government property after he allegedly lied about how long he had operated two businesses, how much money they had made and whether he was the sole owner of a janitorial company.
Gordon received nearly $273,000 in total, according to court documents.
According to an indictment, Gordon applied for a federal pandemic business relief loan on June 19, 2020 for his business, Logo Fitness, which was established in 2020.
He submitted another application for Elite 50 Basketball Training, which was created in 2020, too, charging documents say.
Gordon also claimed that he was the sole owner of a business called Lorenzo Gordon janitorial services since 2017 when there was actually another owner of the company as well, court documents say.
After playing basketball at Illinois State, the St. Louis native played professional basketball in France, Germany, Turkey and Israel.
