The Internet roasted NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal for taking a photo with influencer Sophie Rain sitting on his lap at her 21st birthday party.
Sophie reportedly hired Shaq, 53, to DJ her party in Las Vegas. She shared the photo on X (Twitter) along with the caption: “Look who I ran into on my birthday!!”

Years ago rumors spread about Shaq sliding in the DMs of women young enough to be his granddaughters.
In 2023 former Home Depot employee Ariana Josephine quit her job after Shaq went to her workplace looking for her.
Ariana went viral after posting a mirror selfie wearing a Home Depot smock. In the caption, she complained that people thought she was “too pretty” to work at Home Depot.
Shaq agreed. He slid into her DMs to offer words of encouragement and to possibly ask for her phone number.
Ariana, who was raised in a devout Christian household, politely rejected Shaq’s advances.
Shaq shared a video that showed him heading to the Home Depot to find Ariana.
She quit her job soon after.
