Singer Miguel fathered a child with ex-Vogue China editor-in-chief Margaret Zhang

Fans of R&B singer Miguel were surprised to learn that he fathered a child with creative director Margaret Zhang.

The news broke when Miguel shared a video celebrating their son Angelito’s 1st birthday. The boy’s face was blurred to protect his privacy.

Miguel, 39, captioned the post:

“Our baby turned 1 today !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELITO !!! We love you so much ! So proud and honored that you chose us to be your parents. Papá wrote you a song – hope it always reminds you of how loved you are [3 heart emojis].”

Margaret, 32, is an Australian and Chinese filmmaker, writer, model, and former editor-in-chief of Vogue China magazine.

Miguel and Margaret began dating in 2023, VIBE reported.

Miguel’s fans were stunned by the news.

One person wrote on X (Twitter): “Wait, THE Margaret Zhang and the singer Miguel had a baby together?! Wowowow! The levels. This was not on my bingo card! Congratulations!”

Miguel was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Nazanin Mandi.

Miguel and Nazanin, 38, were married in Simi Valley, California in 2018. Prior to their marriage, the high school sweethearts dated for 13 chaotic years. They broke up and reunited numerous times over the years.

Nazanin filed for divorce in September 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They reunited about 6 months later.

In 2022 Nazanin filed for divorce a second time. She also cited “irreconcilable differences” and asked the court to divide their assets and properties according to their prenuptial agreement.

In an interview in March 2021, Nazanin explained why she and Miguel grew apart.

“We were used to being around each other a lot, but then we were also used to traveling a lot. So keeping the spark alive was definitely something we had to stay on — because when you’re in different cities, it’s automatic to feel excitement [when you see each other again].

“But being home [together] all the time, it’s like, ‘Okay, we have to find new things to watch, and to do and to read.’ It was a lot, but overall, we did great. I have no complaints, [and] am grateful for everything.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is accused of scamming a Miami man out of $4 million for fake FaceTime calls with billionaire Elon Musk that never happened.

Mayweather and his real estate partner Jona Rechnitz were named in a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court by Tequila tycoon and digital artist Jayson Winer (pictured center).

Winer claims Mayweather bragged of unlimited access to the world’s richest man and offered to set up FaceTime calls between Winer and Musk for $4 million.

Winer told The-Sun that he wanted access to Musk because his X (Twitter) page was shadow banned.

Court papers obtained by The-Sun alleges Mayweather never contacted Musk, whom he referred to as “my guy.”

Winer said the boxer sent a screenshot as “proof” – but the screenshot was fake and no video call took place.

When Winer complained that the deal never went through, it was eventually agreed that the semi-retired boxer would text Musk for $1 million instead.

Winer re-negotiated the new deal to include watches worth $160,000 and an additional $20,000 cash.

Mayweather sent a bodyguard to Winer’s home in Miami to pick up the watches and cash. But still no video call took place.

Winer told The Sun that he was “shocked” and “devastated” by the deception.

“It’s almost a year since it happened and my life hasn’t been the same ever since,” he said.

Winer claims Mayweather and Rechnitz preyed on his “desperation” after his X account appeared to be shadow banned, which meant his content was less visible to his followers.

Winer, a digital artist, attempted to sell 21,000 pieces of digital art in a seven-day auction online. But he wasn’t able to properly advertise the auction on X because of the shadow ban.

Mayweather and Musk reportedly met when the SpaceX founder was in training for a caged fight with META CEO Mark Zuckerberg in 2023. The fight was eventually canceled.

There is no indication that Musk ever knew about the FaceTime deal.

The lawsuit comes weeks after Mayweather agreed to an exhibition fight with Mike Tyson scheduled for Spring 2026.

Mayweather is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time. He is undefeated with a record of 50 wins and 27 knockouts. He has won 15 world titles in 5 different weight classes.

There are rumors that Mayweather is broke, despite flaunting millions of dollars in cash, homes and cars on social media.

In early 2024, Mayweather was detained by the Dubai government over unpaid debt.

According to EURweb.com, Mayweather’s debt allegedly stemmed from accusations of misconduct towards a woman abroad, leading to a financial settlement to avoid legal repercussions.

This time Russ asked Ciara for baby No. 5 during a promo event for her album, CiCi.

The “1, 2 Step” singer took questions during a fireside chat at her Grammy Museum event. Russell, who was in the audience, raised his hand and said, “One of my all time favorite videos of you is ‘Ride.’ Speaking of riding, when is cinco coming?”

Ciara, who turns 40 on October 25, responded, “Babe, that is such a private conversation.”

Ciara and Russell have been married 9 years and share three children: daughters Sienna, 8, and Amora (born December 2023) and son Win, 5. Ciara’s eldest son, Future Zahir, 11, is by rapper Future Hendrix.

Fans dragged Russell for filth online. They noted that it wasn’t the first time Russell asked Ciara publicly about having another baby.

Radio host Lenard McKelvey, known professionally as Charlamagne, says he regrets getting the COVID-19 MRNA vaccine in 2020.

During Friday’s episode of “The Breakfast Club,” Charlamagne, 47, revealed he suffers from chest pains (angina) since taking the shot.

“I ain’t going to lie, every time I have chest pain now, I be like, ‘Man, I should have never got that d-n COVID shot,'” Charlamagne said.

DJ Envy said: “They kinda forced us to get the COVID shot, right? We didn’t have an option if we wanted to continue to work. And that sucks.”

Charlamagne added: “I had no cardiovascular issues until, like, I got that godd–n COVID shot.”

“And I’m not saying it was the vaccine,” Charlamagne noted. “I’m not saying that. I’m just saying when I think about, you know, things, the changes that I’ve had over the last 5 years, that was a big one, getting that vaccine.”

Charlamagne’s, chest pain might be due to angina caused by reduced oxygen to the heart muscle.

Chest pain after exertion (stable angina) is a common condition that usually goes away after rest.

But persistent chest pain without exertion (chest pain at rest) is a medical emergency.

It may mean Charlamagne has a blocked artery in his heart that requires a stent placement to open up the artery. He may also need bypass surgery to reroute the artery around the blockage.

Sherri Shepherd‘s longtime Executive Producer and sidekick Jawn Murray quit the talk show, leaving Sherri “crushed,” according to RadarOnline.

Murray’s departure comes amid behind-the-scenes speculation that he was difficult to work with.

A spokesperson for the show told RadarOnline: “We can confirm that he is no longer with the show and beyond that we do not comment on personnel matters.”

Murray’s high-powered attorney was more direct: “To be clear, the precise circumstances of his professional decisions are not your or the public’s concern.”

Laywer Trent Copeland added: “Mr. Murray is a respected and established media host and producer with an impeccable record. Baseless accusations or rumors from ‘sources’ that seek to discredit his career and reputation will be met with immediate and vigorous resistance.”

According to RadarOnline, Murray was the subject of complaints to HR after he posted a video clip on social media.

“Is this a cultural thing? I’ve been noticing that predominantly the Black people in the bathroom wash their hands and some of the others don’t,” he said.

Murray’s colleagues assumed he was talking about their handwashing hygiene.

Murray was Sherri’s closest friend and a confidant, who previously hosted TV shows for Travel Channel, EPIX and NFL Network. Ebony magazine named him one of the “30 on the Rise” to watch in the industry.

He appeared as a panelist on talk shows like “The Meredith Vieira Show” and “The Wendy Williams Show.”

Murray was also a writer for the Huff Post and NY Daily News, among other publications.

A school in Jamaica took a hard line against students wearing edges, also known as baby hairs.

St. Andrew High School for Girls amended the school’s policy to ban edges and hair dye.

The new policy is in response to young girls adopting the trend of using gel to “lay down” fine, short hairs along the hairline.

As the new school term began, an Instagram account linked to St. Andrew High School wrote: “Reminder Students! Please be advised that the wearing of ‘edges’ is now officially banned on campus. Remember, curtains belong in the house, not on foreheads! Let’s keep our looks neat and school-ready.”

The post continues: “We appreciate your cooperation in upholding our standards of excellence as we continue honouring the legacy and inspiring the future!”

Another post featured an image of a young student wearing an acceptable, natural hairstyle.

The posts triggered negative responses from parents and others on social media. The comments were quickly disabled.

In related news, officials at Calabar High School in Kingston, Jamaica are also on the hot seat for locking 34 boys out of the school on the first day for code violations ranging from missing buttons on their shirts to hair length.

Some parents argued that the policy was discriminatory. But others defended the policy, saying it encouraged discipline, tidiness and good hygiene among students.

Young Thug recently apologized to his ex-girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, for cheating on her with a bevy of women before his arrest on RICO charges in May 2022.

In a newly leaked jailhouse phone call, Young Thug admitted to cheating on his girl with a correctional officer while in jail.

“Wham, I’m so P, Mariah don’t even know I’m in this bi–h still f–ing,” he laughed. “Got me a CO to deliver the box quicker than a FedEx worker,” he joked, while using slang to describe female genitals.

On Sunday, Young Thug pleaded with Mariah to forgive him, writing: “U showed me what love is and I hope I haven’t lost u forever… everybody leave her out of this please she’s an innocent girl and feels bad about all of this. Please give her peace.”

However, his begging fell on deaf ears.

Later that same day, Young Thug typed “Chapter ended” with a heart emoji, indicating he and Mariah’s relationship was done.

In October 2024, police arrested a former Fulton County corrections officer, Karmen Bailey, and charged her with accepting bribes to deliver drugs and contraband to inmates. At the time, Bailey was in an inappropriate and unlawful relationship with one of Young Thug’s co-defendants, Marquavius Huey, who was in jail.

Huey was one of 6 defendants on trial with Young Thug.

Information found in Bailey’s phone records showed she received payments via Apple Pay and other apps totaling $17,000.

Tabitha Brown sparked social media debate when she urged Black entrepreneurs to give up their dreams and get a job.

The popular social media influencer and entrepreneur made the comments in a social media video while addressing aspiring business owners who face economic hardship.

She captioned her post: “Baby ain’t a thang wrong with getting a job for a lil while. You can have a job while you work on your [business] baby.”

In the video, Tabitha said: “This is not to discourage you – I want to be clear about that first… Now listen, you got good ideas. You got good ideas. Your execution is not as good… Entrepreneurship… it’s not for everybody. That doesn’t mean it’s not for you, but right now these last few months… few years… baby, it ain’t been working for you and you’re doing a lot of robbing Peter to pay Paul. It’s time for you to get a job.”

Tabitha’s advice was not well-received, particularly after the recent job report showed the U.S. added only 22,000 jobs and the Black unemployment rate skyrocketed in the first half of 2025.

Thousands of Black women within the federal government were laid off and can’t find work in the private sector.

The slow job growth reflects President Trump’s tariffs and economic policies that have negatively impacted the economy overall.

Social media users say Tabitha is out of touch with the times.

One person wrote on Threads: “‘Tab wasn’t talking to people currently looking for work’ … no. She was telling ppl to BECOME the mf looking for work. She said, ‘you not doing well at digital entrepreneurship, so go compete [with] the people who been job searching for two years in a s–y market. Join all the federal employees who just lost their jobs, dust off your resume with the four-year gap on it, and spend two years looking for a 9-5.’ That’s insensitive at best. Stupid at worst.”

Content creator Talia Cadet wrote on Threads: “[Black women] are looking for work. [Black women] turn to entrepreneurship in response to a forever racist and sexist job market. A struggling actor turned entrepreneur, fixing their mouth to imply otherwise is disappointing.”

But Tabitha also had defenders.

Another user on Threads wrote: “Guys, this message is NOT for the entrepreneurs who are ACTIVELY TRYING to get a job and can’t. It’s for the entrepreneurs who are sinking their time and money into a failing business and refusing to acknowledge that it’s failing. I hope this helps!”
