Klay Thompson revealed the real reason why he broke up with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The former Warriors star who now plays for the Dallas Mavericks dumped Megan because she was “too ghetto” for him.
According to the Daily Mail, a source close to Klay says he dumped Megan long before their split made blog headlines. “He was over her and didn’t want to be with her,” the insider said. “I think he wanted to break up with her for a while but just didn’t know what to do.”
“He was like, ‘She was just so ghetto. I was over the ghettoness… The way she speaks, the way she acts.'”

The source claimed Klay, 36, thought Megan, 31, was too mouthy and he complained that Megan never got over her obsession with incarcerated rapper Tory Lanez. “She would not shut the f**k up about [Lanez],” he allegedly said.
Tory, 33, is serving 10 years in prison for shooting Megan during a disagreement in 2020. Tory’s sentence was upheld in 2025.

The source said Klay and Megan purchased a house together back in October. But she rarely stayed there and he was left feeling alone. “He kind of felt abandoned by her,” the source said. “He felt like she never made an effort.”

He also didn’t love Megan’s attention-seeking behavior and her habit of posting their photos all over social media. Klay is very private when it comes to his relationships. But Megan loves to be seen and heard by the masses.
However, another insider said “Klay never once tried to break up with her.” The insider said Megan left after discovering Klay was cheating on her.

NBA legend Carmelo Anthony is off the market and dating Racquel Smith, the widow of former NFL defensive end Will Smith. The former NBA star-turned-NBC broadcaster and Raquel are Instagram official.

Carmelo, 42, was previously married to La La Anthony, 44. They share a son, 19-year-old Kiyan, who plays basketball for Syracuse.
They married in 2010, but split in April 2017 after she caught him cheating on her. They reunited but were on-and-off for several years. La La eventually filed for divorce in June 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.
Racquel’s late husband Will Smith was fatally shot on April 9, 2016 during a road rage incident after a Hummer crashed into the back of his Mercedes-Benz G Wagon. The incident started when Smith’s G Wagon accidentally rear-ended the Hummer. Smith then left the scene of the crash.
The other driver, 28-year-old Cardell Hayes, followed Smith and intentionally rammed the back of the G Wagon with his Hummer. Racquel and two passengers were in the G Wagon at the time.
Racquel was struck by a bullet when Hayes opened fire on Smith. Hayes was arrested at the scene. He was later convicted of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter. He was sentenced in 2017 to 25 years for manslaughter and 15 years for attempted manslaughter.

Ashlee Jenae’s fiancé Joe McCann says he’s starting a non-profit foundation in her honor after she died by suicide in Tanzania at age 31 on April 9.
The Miami-based lifestyle influencer was found hanging from a doorknob inside a villa in Zanzibar, Tanzania. She was in Zanzibar to celebrate her engagement to McCann, a crypto businessman. They also celebrated her 31st birthday at a wildlife safari.
“Her death will not be in vain, and her legacy will be preserved,” McCann told TMZ. He said the non-profit will be dedicated to preserving Jenae’s “legacy.”

Mystery surrounded Jenae’s death on the island of Zanzibar. Jenae’s family believed that McCann knew more about her death. Jenae’s parents vowed to travel to Zanzibar and speak with investigators following her funeral.
McCann skipped her funeral in New Jersey on May 5. But he remembered Jenae as his “best friend, confidante and fiancé [sic]” in a post on X.com the same day as the funeral.
Supporters donated nearly $65,000 to the family, surpassing the goal of $50,000.
On April 7, Zuri Zanzibar hotel staff heard a loud argument coming from their room. Hotel security separated them in different villas. Jenae was found hanging from a doorknob in her villa on April 8. She died in a hospital the next day.
About 11 hours later, McCann called Jenae’s parents in New Jersey to say she harmed herself. The family said they never heard from him again.
Jenae’s parents rejected the idea that Ashlee committed suicide. They said she would never harm herself. However, a coroner’s report confirmed Jenae (born Ashly Jenae Robinson) died by asphyxiation. Her cause of death was suicide related to mental distress.

According to local outlet The Citizen, authorities said Jenae asked ChatGPT a suicide-related question several weeks before she died. Ashlee had asked ChatGPT how much of a prescription drug could “kill me”.
“When the official findings were announced, I felt a deep sense of renewed pain, but also purpose,” McCann told TMZ.

“Ashly’s story needs to be told so we can honor and cherish what she brought to this world,” he said. “Her death will not be in vain, and her legacy will be preserved.”
McCann told TMZ he wished he could have helped relieve Jenae’s “deep mental anguish.”

Knicks fans erupted in wild celebrations in New York City after the Knicks won the title on Saturday. They fired guns in the air and lit fireworks until well after midnight. Dozens of fans were arrested for burning school buses, damaging police cars and trying to tear down light poles.
Police made more than 60 arrests for destroying property near MSG on Saturday night and early Sunday. The NYPD reported multiple injuries, a non-fatal shooting, four stabbings, six school buses burned and multiple damaged NYPD vehicles.

Austin Metcalf’s father went on an unhinged rant calling Karmelo Anthony a racial slur and slandering his parents after a judge lifted a gag order.
During an appearance on investigative journalist Sarah Fields’ podcast, Jeff Metcalf referred to Anthony as “watermelon felon.”
Anthony was convicted of stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a track meet in Frisco, Texas on April 2, 2025. He is currently serving 35 years in a Texa state prison.
Jeff Metcalf previously said he forgave Anthony for killing his son. But once the gag order lifted, he vented his outrage against Anthony, his parents, and their supporters.
He referred to Anthony’s parents, Andrew Anthony and Kala Hayes, as “grifters.”
“You are grifters. You should be ashamed of yourselves,” he said. He also called Andrew Anthony a “coward” for not attending his son’s sentencing. Jeff directed a question toward Hayes, “What’d you do to that boy to make him stab somebody?”

Jeff said he was going to “make something racist up so y’all can go viral,” referring to Anthony’s supporters. “I got a new name for ‘Melo, OK, ’cause he’s such this little boy you’re always trying to portray. How about watermelon felon. How’s that one strike ya?”
Jeff said he forgave Anthony so the anger wouldn’t eat him up like cancer on the inside. “It’s like me drinking poison and hoping it kills you. It doesn’t work that way. You’ve gotta let that stuff go or it will kill you. It will eat you up inside.”
He added, “You can’t make a good decision if you’re emotional. Emotion and intellect do not mix. If you’re emotional, you can’t come up with a logical solution.
Jeff Metcalf’s words caused widespread outrage on social media.
Metcalf claimed he’s “not racist,” and he is only “racist against a—holes.” He said “we all bleed the same color.” But he said he was exhausted by “Black fatigue,” and he said African American people “embarrassed your own culture and race.”

Earlier this week, Alicia Brown, the estranged wife of Atlanta radio personality Darian Morgan, aka “Big Tigger,” hinted that he physically abused her. Alicia broke down in tears while displaying her facial injuries in a now-deleted video.
While she didn’t accuse Tigger directly, she wrote a comment that read: “Someone ask my husband why my face happened?”

Big Tigger addressed the allegations on “The Big Tigger Morning Show” on V-103 (WVEE) in Atlanta on Friday.
“Good morning Atlanta, I’m extremely privileged to be here this morning, back at work,” he said.
“Over the past several days, there has been significant public discussion and speculation regarding my personal life. I understand this can happen being a public person. I’ve been doing radio now 32 years, and television for 29. I appreciate first and foremost the support and concern that so many people have shown. I want to say categorically – categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating about me are false, untrue, not happening, didn’t happen.”
Tigger, 53, also apologized to his morning show co-host Francesca Amiker, 36. In a post on social media, Alicia suggested that Tigger and Francesca are more than friends and that Alicia filed for divorce after she learned of their workplace romance.
However, Tigger insists that he and Francesca are just friends and colleagues.
“Additionally, it’s important to clarify that Francesca and I have never been anything more than friends and respected colleagues. I’d like to apologize to you Francesca for the impact of these last few days and this last week. I hope you accept my apology. Out of respect for everyone involved, I ask for grace, privacy, and restraint as my family navigates this difficult moment. For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving my community through music, entertainment, and connection. In a statement to Loren Lorosa, Alicia denied calling Tigger an abuser. She said social media drew its own conclusions based on her tearful video. “I respect the legal process and believe law enforcement should be allowed to do its job without interference from anyone, including me.”
“I remain confident that the facts will speak for themselves in due time. Until then, my focus remains on my family, my peace, and protecting those I love… I love my family and I will not engage in public debates, speculation, or personal attacks and bitterness. I am not hiding, and I stand firmly by my character and integrity. I respectfully ask for patience as I follow the guidance of my legal counsel and allow the process to unfold.”
Meanwhile, Alicia’s 17-year-old daughter, Ailea Brown, is still missing. Ailea was 10 years old when she was reported missing in 2019. Investigators continue to list her as a missing child.

SpaceX raised $75 billion ahead of the largest ever initial public offering (IPO) at $135 per share, making its founder, Elon Musk, the world’s first trillionaire.
The IPO increased Musk’s personal net worth to over $1.1 trillion. SpaceX’s stock started trading Friday at $135 before surging to $170 a share. Trading platform Robinhood said it saw “record-breaking traffic” after SpaceX’s historic IPO debut on Friday.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said it wants to expand its reusable rockets, satellite communications business and artificial intelligence (AI).

A brazen Legos thief was sentenced to 45 years in a Texas prison for stealing over $37,000 worth of the plastic construction toys.
28-year-old Winston Love was sentenced to hard time in prison following a June 4 conviction for organized retail theft and possession of a firearm, according to FOX 4 News.
Tarrant County police say Love was part of a major theft ring that stole Legos sets from Target stores across North Texas. Police also recovered stolen coffee makers, vacuum cleaners and Playstation controllers during a search of his residence.
Love was arrested in October 2025 after he was caught shoplifting in Watauga. A store manager said he walked out with $1,300 worth of Legos toys. Police used Flock cameras and license plate readers to track Love to his front door.
He was arrested and charged with thefts at stores in Dallas, Irving, Plano, Flower Mound, Euless, Fort Worth, Lewisville, Mansfield, Arlington, Irving, and Frisco.
Love had eight outstanding warrants for theft and illegal drug possession.
“Mr. Love is also believed to be part of an organized retail theft ring operating in Texas and Oklahoma, many involving Lego merchandise,” the Watauga Police Department said in a statement, according to FOX 4.
“It’s incredibly brazen. When you watch video of the individual committing these crimes, he truly goes shopping through the store, determines what merchandise he wants, and this individual specifically targets Lego products. He either loads them in a cart or just loads them under his arms and literally walks right out the door, in complete defiance of anybody that might try to stop him,” Watauga Police Chief Jim Lewis said.
“It’s easy to sell those products online at nearly their retail value, so the risk versus reward for them becomes worth it,” Lewis added.
In a separate case, police in Oregon confiscated over $200,000 worth of Lego toys from a store named “Brick Builders.”
The store owner denies dealing in stolen Legos. He faces accusations that he “knowingly purchased new, unopened sets of Legos that had been stolen from local retail stores.” Police released video that shows stolen Legos sets recovered from the store (below).
