A U.S. military veteran, who worked hard to start her own business, tearfully shared her story of selling her food truck to an illegal immigrant for cash.

The woman, who voted for Joe Biden, cries as she explains her story. She said she sold her food truck to an illegal immigrant who has no credit, but he received cash funds from the U.S. government to buy her food truck.

The veteran said she paid $25,000 cash for her first food truck in 2019. “I worked hard to pay for this truck. I’m now selling it,” she said.

She said a man who offered to purchase her food truck told her that he is illegal and he can’t get a bank loan. But he showed her paperwork that proved he will receive cash from the government to buy her food truck.

“I need my president to tell me why I’ve worked so hard all these years, all these decades, and couldn’t get a business loan,” the woman said through tears. “But I bust my ass to get the money to create my business, and now we’ve got immigrants coming here, and they’re getting money. Money! For doing nothing but just being here. It’s not right, and I want answers.”

Earlier this month, a photo of an EBT receipt went viral on X (formerly Twitter). The photo – which was debunked as a hoax – showed a receipt with an EBT balance of $23,401.82 and a cash balance of $4,498.85.

The photo was debunked because someone changed the number “1” to a “2”. The actual receipt reads $13,401.82, plus $4,498.85 in cash. That’s still a lot more money than Americans receive in government handouts.

A video has resurfaced that shows Steve Harvey moderating a conversation with Vice President Kamala Harris.

The conversation took place in June – a month before President Joe Biden bowed out of the race due to health issues.

In the video, Harvey chastised Black people for asking the Biden-Harris administration for something in return for their vote.

Harvey responded to allegations that he never asks politicians hard-hitting questions.

“That ain’t what this is,” he said. “I’m throwing a lob. This is an alley-oop for a dunk, because this administration needs to get the word out of what they’re doing and what they’re actually accomplishing. So we can stop all this foolishness about what you doing for Black people.”

Harvey continued: “I’m on this radio show and I’m hearing all these people talking about ‘I’m not voting if they not doing nothing for us.’ Listen to me, if we don’t vote, how we gon’ ask for something next time?”

Harvey’s words struck a chord among people on X.com who are tired of hearing the same message repeated every election year.

In 1994, 14-year-old aspiring rapper “TIP” appeared as a musical guest on an Atlanta public television program called “Ya’ Destiny.”

One of the female hosts described TIP as “second to none” and “he’s on his way.”

Little TIP performed a song he wrote, titled “Y’all Don’t Hear Me,” a song about a young street hustler selling crack and gangbanging. He also said his elderly father “Buddy” sends him fly clothes, “But things would be better if he was living with my mom and me.”

TIP’s immense talent caught the attention of Atlanta record executive Kawan “KP” Prather (left), who signed TIP to LaFace Records on Arista in 1999.

Like the host said when TIP was only 14, he was on his way. The only obstacle in his way was his nickname. “TIP” was too similar to his Arista label-mate Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest.

As TIP explained it: “We were both on Arista and we was trying to release my first album. The people who had to market, promote, and, you know, just spread the word on it communicated that it was somewhat difficult or confusing to have two Tips in one building.”

KP came up with the suggestion to shorten TIP’s nickname to T.I. – and the rest is history.

Simone Biles has apparently rejected her biological mom’s plea for a reconciliation.

Shanon Biles wants to reconcile with the Olympic gold medalist. But it seems Simone rejected her mom’s plea by reminding her followers who her parents are.

Simone, 27, won 3 gold medals and a silver medal in gymnastics at the Paris Olympics. She has been posting nonstop on social media since she returned home.

In a post on Threads, Simone bragged that her parents bought her an expensive gift.

“My parents bought me my hermes bag. Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents,” she wrote.

The post referred to her maternal grandfather Ronald Biles and his second wife Nellie Biles. The Biles adopted Simone, then 6, and her younger sister, Adria, when Shanon lost custody.

Shanon’s two eldest children — a girl and a boy — were taken in by an aunt.

Ronald and Nellie moved with Simone and Adria to Houston, leaving Shanon behind in Columbus, Ohio. Ronald warned Shanon not to interfere in the girls’ lives.

In an interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Shanon Biles explained how her addiction to drugs and alcohol caused her to lose custody of her children.

“It took me six years before I saw my children again. I was respecting my dad to let the kids transition. He felt that was the best thing for them,” Shanon, 52, told Dailymail.com.

“It was hard to give up my kids, but I had to do what I had to do. I wasn’t able to care for them. I was still using, and he didn’t want me coming in and out of their lives when I wasn’t right.”

Shanon added: “I would like to make amends with Simone personally – I’m just waiting for her and [her younger sister] Adria. I speak to Adria more than I speak to Simone. I would just ask her to forgive me. Can we move forward? Don’t judge me on my past. Let’s move forward.”

R&B singer Usher postponed tonight’s “Past, Present, Future” tour stop at State Farm Arena in Atlanta due to low ticket sales.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the 45-year-old crooner blamed fatigue for the cancellation.

Tavis Smiley says the Democrats are “spineless” for bullying President Joe Biden out of the presidential race.

The TV talk show host and author made the statement in an episode of VladTV on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Smiley expressed his disappointment with the Democratic Party’s treatment of the 81-year-old President. He questioned why the Biden administration agreed to the first presidential debate between Biden and Trump in June.

Smiley said it was only after the debate that he noticed Biden’s frailty and lack of energy. But he was shocked that journalists celebrities, and social media called for Biden to step aside.

Adele is getting cold feet after announcing her engagement to Rich Paul, according to a report.

The pop singer, 36, confirmed her engagement to the 42-year-old sports agent during a concert in Munich, Germany earlier this month.

She reportedly told a fan, “I can’t marry you – because I’m already getting married!”

But behind the scenes, Adele is having nagging doubts according to a report in Life & Style magazine.

Insiders say Adele’s tearful performance while singing “Someone Like You” in Munich is just one of many similar emotional breakdowns.

They say Adele is an emotional wreck because she isn’t sure whether Rich really loves her.

In 2022 Adele canceled her Las Vegas concerts after a fight with Rich.

“It’s worse behind the scenes,” an insider told Life & Style. “Adele’s crazy in love but she’s not sure Rich is the right guy. She doesn’t trust her instincts and it’s tearing her apart, leaving her exhausted and terrified she’ll wind up alone.”

Another source said, “She’s become extremely needy and clingy. Her friends don’t like or trust Rich all that much and fear he could be using her to open doors in Hollywood. Anyone can see the mental hopscotch is driving her to a nervous collapse!”

Adele called off 2 prior engagements before saying “yes” to Rich Paul. She has a 12-year-old son by ex-husband Simon Konecki.

It isn’t clear when Adele and Rich began dating, but they moved in together in 2022. Friends say the “Rolling in the Deep” singer began “pressuring” Rich to pop the question that same year. In December 2023 she “confirmed” they were married.

A witness told gossip blogger Deuxmoi in an email: “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did!'”

In 2018 Adele became an ordained minister to officiate Alan Carr’s wedding in her own backyard in Los Angeles. Carr’s marriage ended four years later.

Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones has offered to pay $1.5 million to free a 68-year-old Illinois school food service worker from prison.

Vera Liddell was convicted of stealing 11,000 cases of frozen chicken wings from 2020 to 2022.

The former Harvey school district food service director pled guilty earlier this month as part of a plea deal. She was sentenced to 9 years in prison on Friday.

Jones, who doesn’t know Liddell, is among those who say the punishment doesn’t fit the crime.

Jones made the offer to pay for the stolen chicken wings in a post on social media.

“I’ll pay for the wings that she stole to get her free,” Jones wrote on his official X.com account on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Jones can afford to pay Liddell’s debt to society. The defensive tackle and the Chiefs agreed to a 5-year, $95 million contract in March of this year.

Liddell’s supporters on X praised Jones for his generosity. They also asked presidential candidates Trump and Harris to intervene on Liddell’s behalf.

Another TikTok influencer has come forward to stay Kamala Harris’ campaign tried to pay her for an endorsement.

“I received an email for a paid promotion for me to make a video and post it on TikTok talking about the Democratic side. At the end of this email, it says if you wanna get things going, we’ll send over an NDA for you to sign,” she said. The influencer warned her followers that other influencers may be getting paid to endorse candidates.

The news comes after popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat went ballistic because the Harris campaign and the Secret Service repeatedly contacted him to do an interview with Harris.

The pressure on Kai Cenat intensified after Donald Trump appeared on streamer Adina Ross’s show on August 5. Over 1 million viewers tuned in to the livestream.

Kai Cenat is so shook by the pressure from the Secret Service that he livestreams from inside a U-Haul truck parked at undisclosed locations in New York City.

The Harris campaign and the Secret Service denies calling Kai Cenat. But what about all the other streamers who claim they received calls from the Harris campaign?

Harris still hasn’t sat down with a major news network since President Biden bowed out of the race in July.
