The news is bad for Rihanna and Jay Z. Despite their best efforts, RiRi's eighth studio album, Anti (pronounced "Auntie") is a spectacular flop.

Chris Brown unleashed his frustration on "fake" social media followers for not buying his album, Royalty.
The 26-year-old singer slammed his huge social media following in a series of tweets on Tuesday. Brown has over 35 MILLION followers on Twitter.com and Instagram.com combined. But his album, Royalty, is estimated to sell a little over 165,000 copies in its first week.
Singer Monica Brown's new CD, Code Red, is estimated to sell 30K-35K units in 1st week sales.
At best, Code Red is expected to sell or stream 37,000 units in the 1st week.
This comes after Mo and her management put together a well-organized promotional campaign that saw the Atlanta songbird performing promo shows around the country to promote her album and appearing on talk shows.
Monica's estimated 1st week sales provide more evidence that social media follows and 'likes' are worthless and often do not translate to sales for artists.
R&B singer Monica Brown gave her faithful fans the news they've been waiting for on Sunday.
The mother of 3 announced the release date for her long-anticipated LP Code Red.
It's official: R&B singer Ciara's new album, Jackie, is a flop. According to industry estimates, Jackie is expected to move about 22,000 units in 1st week sales (that includes online streaming). Those are pretty dismal numbers when you think about how far Ciara has risen since her "Goodies" days.
G.O.O.D./Def Jam artist Big Sean squeaked by rap/rocker Kid Rock to score his first #1 album on the Billboard charts. Sean's album Dark Sky pushed 180K in sales.
Rap icon Lil Kim went from 0-100 on R&B singer and reality star K. Michelle yesterday. Before we get to the roasting I should mention that K. Michelle's current album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? (Atlantic Records), is on pace to top 100,000 in record sales next week. That puts her in very rare company as only 2 other urban artists -- and no other female R&B singer -- sold more than 100K records in all of 2014!
Furthermore, I listened to K. Michelle's album yesterday and it's actually pretty good. So put aside your personal opinion of her and go support our urban artists by copping the CD!
Now on to the roasting!
Despite topping every money-related list this year, pop singer Beyonce missed the mark by a wide margin on the only list that counts in 2014 (no, not Forbes).
Beyonce raked in $115 million in record and tickets sales in 2014. But that wasn't enough to surpass a musician who outearned her by about half a billion dollars. Click the link below to see who it is.
Harlem socialite Azealia Banks and her family bought up as many copies of her new album as they could afford. But she still failed to crack the top 20 on the Billboard charts this week. Her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, barely sold 11,000 copies -- a dismal failure in anyone's book.
1st week sales figures for rap mogul T.I. Harris' 9th studio album, Paperwork (Grand Hustle/Columbia Records), beat estimated projections.
