Is Rihanna Fast Becoming the Laughing Stock of the Industry?

This is not funny, but it does reflect the mood of bloggers everywhere who have grown wary of Rihanna pushing the style envelope too far and failing to deliver the goods musically. I HATE the new look that Rihana’s stylist has taken her in.

Rihanna’s new single “The Wait Is Ova” dropped online today on Rihannanow.com, but if her new album, set for release on November 23, flops then her career is OVA.

WVEE insider: “Ma$e did not bum rush Diddy’

A video posted on urban blogs all over the Internet yesterday purported to show old skool rapper-turned-Minister Ma$e ‘bum rushing’ his boss Sean Combs inside an Atlanta radio station last week.

The video shows struggling rapper Ma$e demanding his walking papers from the Bad Boy Records’ CEO after bursting into the Ryan Cameron Show at V-103 while Sean Combs was live on the air.

The only problem is, none of the above is true — and the implications of that video has rankled at least one higher up at the station who uncharacteristically reached out to Sandrarose.com via email yesterday.

The email was short, but sweet and straight to the point: the whole thing was staged by Diddy, Ma$e and a heretofore unknown blog called Shuddup.com.

The gist of the email, which I published below, is that no celebrity has ever been nor will ever be ‘bum rushed’ on The Ryan Cameron Show.

I called this a PR stunt yesterday and it feels good to be right again.

Here’s the email:

Thank you… For being smart enough to know that nobody bum rushed anything on ryan’s show and these fools just want site hits! [Ryan Cameron] told him when to come on

The insider, who asked to remain anonymous, indicates clearly in his email that Ryan knew about the stunt and even told Ma$e what time to enter the studio.

Amy Winehouse’s Goddaughter Can’t Sing

Dionne Bromfield, the British teenager whose only claim to fame is being Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter, can’t sing a lick. She’s not as horrible as Ashanti or Beyonce, but her vocals are flat and would be better suited for background work. Clearly the only reason she got a record deal is because of Amy’s influence. That’s sad because she’s cute and all.

Click the video below to hear the evidence.

Chris Brown – Transform Ya (Behind the scenes sneak peek)

Chris Brown posted these pics from the closed set of his “Transform Ya” video shoot featuring Swizz Beatz and Lil Wayne. Didn’t anybody tell them that this track is lame as HAIL? Is anybody but Chris Brown’s few followers on Twitter even listening to this garbage? The last time I checked, the track debuted at #52 on the charts.

I’m filing this one under NOBODY CARES!

Are We Ova Rihanna?

The Internet is buzzing (at least on the urban blogs) about Rihanna’s new track “The Wait Is Ova” which drops today at 11:23 a.m. You can kinda hear the song in this video if you crank up the volume. It sounds dry as hail. I’m not feelin’ it and I really have my doubts that Rihanna can ever top “Umbrella” which won every music award under the sun.

I’m also not feeling this wack new style of hers. I understand her stylist is attempting to take Rihanna to another level, but she was fine where she was. Now she looks like something out of Flintstones meets the Terrordome. Also, if the rumors that I’m hearing about Rihanna are true, I’m done supporting her. Not that she cares.

New Music: Gucci Mane ft. Usher – Spotlight

I have one word for this Gucci Mane/Usher collabo: HAWT. I’d almost forgotten what a great R&B singer Usher is because, lately, the production on his own music has been so lame. Gucci and Usher have a smash hit on their hands with “Spotlight” produced by Polow Da Don off the highly anticipated album The State vs. Radric Davis coming in December!

Beyonce Cancels Malaysia Tour Again

I knew this heifer wasn’t going to perform in Malaysia. At this point, Beyonce’s career has been reduced to one publicity stunt after another. Nobody cares anymore, Bey!

Beyonce was supposed to perform at a venue in Kuala Lumpur on October 25, and the event’s organizer released a statement confirming that a future date would be announced shortly, according to Access Hollywood. “The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” the statement read.

When performing in Malaysia, government rules require female artists to cover up from their shoulders to their knees, with absolutely no cleavage showing. Last month, the event organizer, Marctensia addressed concerns over Beyonce’s typically risque wardrobe, saying “all parties have come to an amicable understanding” about costumes. Source
