Happy Thanksgiving to my SR family! I am thankful that you read my blog even though some of you don’t always agree with what I write.

Keyshia Cole Treats Fan To Hang With Her Backstage at BET
Keyshia Cole’s Twitter friend, Steven DeMoya, drove for 3½ hours to be in the audience at BET 106 & Park NOT ONCE but TWICE in 7 days to see Keyshia debut her two new videos.
After KC was made aware of his trek all the way from Rhode Island to NYC last week, she made sure he got special treatment this week. Steven met KC at BET’s VIP entrance and walked into the building with her.
After hanging with KC in the dressing room he was whisked off to her appearance VIP Style: Check the two of them out in KC’s dressing room at BET. Keyshia’s new album, Calling All Hearts, is due in stores on December 21st.

Rapper Nicki Minaj signed copies of her new album Pink Friday at Best Buy in New York City, NY yesterday. Afterward, she attended Kanye West’s secret concert at the Bowery Ballroom. A few irate fans took to Twitter with complaints that Kanye’s “secret” show “went on sale” at 12 noon on TicketMaster, but there were no tickets available at 12:01 p.m., leading some to believe that the concert was a private industry event.

Kanye West gives long rambling, confusing speech during concert
Last night, troubled producer/rapper Kanye West gave a last-minute secret concert at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC to promote his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Kanye boasted about his comeback and his 1st week record sales (expected to be around 500K).
“It was a show performed by a real asshole…” writes the NY Times, “a guy who was convinced that no matter how much you loved him, you could still love him more.”
Celebrities in attendance included Sean Combs, Q-Tip, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Ryan Leslie, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, and John Legend.
Kanye ended the concert with a long rambling, confusing, narcissistic speech in which he once again blamed everyone else around him for his troubles, including his favorite targets: former president George Bush and country pop singer Taylor Swift.
Of the latter, he said, “…Taylor never came to my defense in any interview” I guess it didn’t occur to Kanye that his victims aren’t required to come to his defense?
Yeezy also swung wildly at bloggers: “The sh*t that people write on blogs is a projection of what they feel or what they’re scared about in themselves,” he said. “And now we are mere surfaces of the energy that they are projecting on us.” 
The audience quickly grew restless halfway through Kanye’s rambling speech. There was a smattering of boos and a few of his fans (who spent $160 for the privilege of being there) yelled out “GAY FISH!” and “YOU’RE A LIAR!”
But West, who is firm in his belief that he is being unjustly persecuted — not unlike Jesus Christ — soldiered on, blaming everyone but God for forcing him to man up and face his own demons dead on.

Earlier today, Debra Antney and Mizay Entertainment with DTLR and Hot 107.9 held their annual Turkey Giveaway Dinner Event in Forest Park, GA. People of all ages lined up getting Turkeys from all of the artists signed to Mizay including Waka Flocka Flame, Frenchie, Cartier Kitten, Muff Mommy, Cartel, Kebo Gotti, as well as Gucci Mane stopping by and helping some of the senior citizens by carrying turkeys and vegetables to their vehicles. Kanye West Tops Nicki Minaj
According to HitsDailyDouble, Kanye West’s critically acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, will top Nicki Minaj’s much-anticipated debut CD, Pink Friday, on the charts next week.
West’s ‘Fantasy’ is expected to push over 500K units, while Nicki’s sales will hover around the 150K mark.
The buzz surrounding West’s 5th studio album reached a fever pitch when Rolling Stone magazine gave ‘Fantasy’ the equivalent of The Source magazine’s 5 mics in its review.
Still, Kanye’s best wasn’t good enough. As I reported earlier, country pop superstar Taylor Swift, 20, sold over 1 million copies of her album Speak Now in its first week.
This news won’t go over well with Kanye, 33, who considers himself to be on par with God, Michael Jackson and the Beatles — in that order.
Report: Ugly Betty Actor Kills Mother With Samurai Sword
According to online reports, an actor who had bit parts on TV’s Ugly Betty and the movie Step Up 3D, has allegedly murdered his own mother with a samurai sword while screaming Biblical passages.
According to People.com, a black woman identified as Yannick Brea, 55, was found dead in her Brooklyn apartment early this morning.
There are unconfirmed reports that Brea was beheaded.
A male was taken into custody and transported to Kings County Hospital, and while the NYPD is not yet releasing the alleged suspect’s name, WPIX-11 in New York reports he is Michael Brea, 31, and that he used a samurai sword to commit the crime.
Police confirmed to EW.com that the weapon used was a sword.
