Rapper Future Hendrix might be a promiscuous womanizing prolific baby maker, but he is also a good father who only wants what's right for his 4 or 5 children.
The 31-year-old Atlanta native denounced Ciara, the mother of his 1-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn, on the Breakfast Club on Thursday.
The rapper expressed anger at Ciara for allowing her boyfriend, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, to push his son in a stroller after knowing him for only 2 or 3 months.
“People think I'm bitter because she moved on. But I'm good. I'm taking care of me. I don't need him — she needs him," said Future.
“Of course I wouldn’t want someone pushing my son,” he said. "Like, that's the No. 1 rule. Like, if I was a kid and my mom had a dude pushing me, I would've jumped out of the stroller and slapped the s--t out of... you never do that in our community. You don't even bring a man around your son. You know this dude for a few months and you're bringing him around your kid?” he continued. "Who does that? Nobody does that."
Future's criticism of Ciara's parenting skills was a hot topic on the blogs yesterday. His biggest supporters were single moms who say they stopped bringing random men around their own children.
Ladies, take notes. Children who grow up in homes with revolving doors and multiple "uncles" tend to be promiscuous adults with high rates of STDs. These children tend to have emotional problems that affect their abilities to maintain steady relationships or hold down jobs as adults.
You should have this discussion with any man you meet.
Tell him how you feel about him meeting your kids. Then tell him your children are your top priority and you aren't ready for him to meet them for at least a year.
If he's still around a year later, gradually introduce him to your children -- but he should never spend the night in your home. Always respect your children and their home.
