Tiny claims her stepsons as her own, but Jada Pinkett refers to Trey as a “bonus-son”

Actress/singer Jada Pinkett-Smith has coined a new term for stepchildren. In a tweet she sent out over the weekend, Jada referred to her stepson Trey Smith as her “bonus-son.” Imagine being a child whose stepmom refers to you as a “bonus.”
Websters defines a ‘bonus’ as “Something that is welcome and often unexpected that accompanies and enhances something that is itself good.”

Moms, such as Tameka “Tiny” Harris (pictured above), happily accept their men’s children as their own. In the caption under the above photo, Tiny tweeted: “Damn my boys look good!” Tiny does not draw a distinction between her biological son, King Harris (front) and her stepson, Domani (in red jacket). They are both her sons as far as she’s concerned.
Similarly, Tiny’s husband, Tip Harris, refers to her daughter, Zonnique Pullins, as his own.
Zeboe Pullins, Zonnique’s Dad, Speaks Out

Last night I spoke briefly by phone with Zeboe Pullins, the father of Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ 16-year-old daughter, Zonnique “Niq” Pullins. Zeboe called me to set the record straight about his relationship with his daughter, whom he loves dearly.
I can always tell which direction a conversation is going in when it starts off with “Look here miss lady…”
But Mr. Zeboe was charming, sincere and straight to the point. He chose his words carefully — explaining that he and I are “from different worlds.” (I took that to mean he doesn’t read the blogs.)
Zeboe respectfully requested that his name be left out of topics of conversations on the blog, and that he didn’t have anything to prove to my readers.
In Case You Missed It: T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, S2, Episode 8
Last night’s episode of T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle featured a heartwarming moment between Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 37, and her parents, Dianne and Charles Pope, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Tiny visits her parents often (at least several times a week when she’s in Atlanta), but you couldn’t tell that by watching the show every week.
Unlike BET’s Tiny & Toya, which featured Dianne and Charles in almost every episode, VH1 has virtually ignored Tiny’s side of the family — a fact that does not sit well with Tiny’s outspoken 16-year-old daughter, Zonnique Pullins, aka Niq Niq.
T.I. and Family Photo Shoot for In Touch Magazine

During a recent photo shoot for In Touch magazine, a photographer’s assistant presented Tip “T.I.” Harris with a collection of Cosby-esque Coogi sweaters to choose from. T.I. flatly refused to wear the sweaters (can you blame him?) Instead, the rap entrepreneur (who is affectionately called “Tip” by family and friends) settled on a sweater that more reflects his personal style.
T.I.’s hit reality show, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle on VH1 has been compared to the fictional Huxtable family of the 90s hit Cosby Show. But T.I., who is father to 6 children (spread out over 3 households), sees no comparison to the Huxtables.
Celebs Out & About: Nia Long, Salma Hayek, Linda Evangelista
Nia Long and Solange Knowles must have the same makeup artist. They both wear too much makeup which makes them seem insecure. All of that foundation isn’t necessary because they are beautiful women. Well, Solange is a little more handsome than Nia is.
