Walter James Palmer

The Obama administration is considering a petition to extradite killer dentist Walter Palmer to South Africa to face charges of poaching.

Over 100,000 animal lovers signed the petition on the White House website. The petition asks the White House to force Palmer to face charges for luring Zimbabwe's beloved Cecil the Lion from a protected game reserve and shooting the animal with a bow and arrow.

100K is the number of signatures required to get a response from the White House.

Palmer allegedly paid $55,000 to three tour guides to help him lure Cecil out of a national park by tying a dead animal to a Jeep.

The men hunted the bleeding lion for 40 hours before shooting him with a gun and beheading and skinning him. African officials seized the lion's head as evidence.

After a London newspaper putted Palmer as the heartless big-game hunter who killed Cecile, Palmer released a statement claiming he had no knowledge that Cecil was protected. Park officials say Palmer removed a GPS collar from Cecil's neck and hunted him at night -- both violations of park rules.

In 2008, Palmer was convicted of poaching a bear then dragging the carcass off protected land.

Hundreds of animal lovers descended on Palmer's River Bluff Dental practice in Bloomington, Minnesota. The business is closed for the rest of the week.

Boston Red Sox David Ortiz Obama selfie

The White House plans to ban visitor photos with President Barack Obama, thanks to Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz. Obama invited Ortiz and his Red Sox teammates to the White House last week to celebrate their World Series win.

Obama obliged Ortiz's request to pose for a 'Selfie' taken with Ortiz's self phone. Such selfies are normally uploaded to social media websites including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

But Ortiz's photo op with the president was actually part of a pre-arranged deal between Ortiz and Samsung to promote the cell phone company's phones.

Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder

Yesterday, news broke that Attorney General of the U.S. Eric Holder suffered chest pains, palpitations (rapid heartbeat) and shortness of breath during a Justice Dept. meeting. My initial thought was that Holder suffered a panic attack. Especially after it was revealed that doctors gave him medication to "return his heartbeat to normal" then discharged him. If his condition was all that serious he would have been hospitalized, if only to monitor him overnight.

Of course, at 63, he could also be diagnosed with any number of heart ailments such as Ischemic Cardiomyopathy, Coronary Artery Disease, Angina, Congestive Heart failure, mild heart attack, etc. But based on his symptoms -- and the fact that hundreds of black pastors are calling for his impeachment -- I think he suffered a panic attack.

Apparently, The Hufffington Post does, too.

    Marine unisex caps

The US Marine Corps is fighting a switch to new "unisex" caps imposed by the Obama administration. According to a report on the NY Post website, the Marine brass "flipped their lids" over Obama's demand that they choose a more "girly", less masculine cap -- called a cover -- and switch to a more feminine looking lid.

“The Marine Corps has zero intention of changing the male cover,” the USMC press office claimed in statement posted to its website, www.marines.mil, Friday.

The press release went on to note that the Obama admin. did not order the new change. But that info conflicts with a "voting form" sent out to all marines to choose "one" new cap for ALL marines -- males and females.

Malia and Sasha Obama get Starbucks

President Barack Obama's daughters Malia Obama And Sasha Obama were seen heading to a Starbucks in the SoHo area of New York for ice coffee. On Friday, their father, the president, wrapped up a bus tour of New York to promote his program to lower college costs. The last time we saw Sasha Obama in SoHo, the 12-year-old was dressed in cut off shorts. But this time around, Sasha wore a virginal white dress. I expect to receive another email from the White House over these pictures. My mother is so proud that the White House cares so much about what I write.

    Obama hoodie

President Obama has angered conservatives (and especially Fox News) with his latest statements on the controversial Zimmerman verdict. Obama said he could have been Trayvon Martin 35 years ago.

He said he too was followed in stores because of his skin color. Obama questioned the outcome if Trayvon had been white and had a gun that night.

"If a white male teen would have been involved in this scenario, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different," Obama said.

    Obama and housefly

A common housefly tormented President Obama for the entire time he spoke in the State Dining Room of the White House in Washington on Thursday (Jan. 24).

Maybe the housefly was exacting revenge on Obama for flattening its cousin during an interview in 2009.

Then there was that time in 2010 when a swarm of flies attacked Obama's face causing him to halt a local news interview.

Apparently the industrial strength pesticides that the Obama administration have been using isn't doing the job.
