Last night I stopped by the Pharr Road Post Office to pick up my mail. One of my letters had been ripped open and the envelope stuffed back into my box.

The above photo is the exact condition I found my mail in when I took it out of my box. It just so happens that the PR company for Bobby Brown mailed me a free copy of Bobby’s new book. The note inside the envelope indicated that much — but the book was gone.

This is not the first time that someone at the Pharr Road location has rifled through my mail and helped themselves to whatever they want. For more than a year now, some my letters and packages have been opened by someone at the Pharr Road location.

The thief prefers mail that is sent to me by record labels or music industry related companies.

The reason I have a post office box is to prevent this very sort of thing from occurring! You don’t think that this type of thievery would be going on inside a Unites States post office!

I never said anything before last night because I just assumed the sender didn’t secure the envelopes before mailing them. Last night I decided I had enough! I raised Holy hell in that post office until I spoke with a supervisor.

After listening to my complaint, the supervisor went into the back and returned with the book in his hand. He told me that an unknown postal employee placed the book on his desk earlier this week.

The supervisor was very nice and he assured me that he would investigate.

Before you say the book accidentally fell out of the envelope — look at the picture again. That package was ripped open!

I’m writing this to let you know that if you have a post office box and you find your mail has been opened, it isn’t an accident. Ask questions and demand an explanation.
