Fox News said a chyron calling President Biden a “wannabe dictator” was taken down immediately and addressed.

Fox News shocked viewers by airing the chyron before former President Donald Trump’s post-arraignment speech at his New Jersey golf club on Tuesday night.

The chyron running below a split screen of Biden and Trump read: “Wannabe Dictator Speaks At The White House After Having His Political Rival Arrested.”

Fox said on Wednesday that “the chyron was taken down immediately and was addressed.” The network did not explain how it was addressed or who was responsible for airing the chyron. Media outlets reported the chyron was onscreen for 27 seconds.

Twitter users reacted with outrage. Even Trump supporters who believe he is being unfairly prosecuted said Fox News crossed the line last night.

Earlier this year, Trump was indicted in New York City on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

He is expected to be indicted in Fulton County, Georgia, and other Democrat strongholds.

Critics say the indictments are all timed to disrupt Trump’s presidential campaign and ensure Biden wins reelection next year.

After the arraignment, Trump visited a Miami café where his supporters sang “Happy Birthday.”

“Some birthday,” Trump said to his supporters, according to the Associated Press.

He took to his Truth Social app and wrote: “Thank you Miami. Such a warm welcome on such a SAD DAY for our Country!”

CNN anchor Jake Tapper was so annoyed by the show of support for Trump that he ordered the control room to stop airing footage of Trump’s visit to the café.

“That’s enough of that!” Tapper snapped.

The liberal anchor said Trump’s visit to the café was nothing more than a “spectacle” and a “campaign ad.”

A source told PEOPLE Trump will celebrate his birthday on Wednesday at a low-key party with family and a few friends.
