Ciara and her children, Future Zahir, 9, and Sienna Princess, 6, are featured in the new Gap x LoveShackFancy ad campaign.
The pop singer and her kids wear Gap × LoveShackFancy All Floral Logo Hoodies which retail for $88 in mens sizes and $59.95 in kids.
“I’m so proud of how great they were, and I loved being able to share the campaign with them,” Ciara, 37, told ELLE magazine. “But kids are gonna be kids! You have a whole vision of how it’s gonna go…and then you get, to put it politely, a remix.”
Ciara may be referring to her son’s provocative pose in one image. Little Future grins from ear-to-ear while touching his mom’s leg with his hand in the photo.
Ciara’s fans were uncomfortable with the intimate bond between mom and son in the ad.
“No boy should touch his mother’s leg like that,” one fan wrote on social media.
Another fan wondered what goes on behind closed doors in Ciara’s household.
Future Zahir’s father is rapper Future Hendrix, 39, who was once engaged to Ciara.
This isn’t CiCi’s first appearance in a Gap ad. Ciara and then-3-year-old Future appeared in a Gap Kids ad campaign in 2017. In fact, Ciara is a devoted fan of the brand.
“I still go to the Gap in the mall in Atlanta, for sure,” she says. “I’ve got the times worked out; I know when it’s not going to be crazy crowded. And I’m extremely strategic. Do I need jeans? Do the kids need shorts? What’s happening for back to school? I am on a mission.”
Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson, 34, are expecting their third child later this year. In addition to Sienna, they are parents to 3-year-old son Win. Ciara and Russell were married in July 2016.
