Katie Couric is speaking out about skyrocketing colorectal cancer rates in America. The former TV host was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022. She is now an advocate for early cancer screening.

Doctors report an unprecedented explosion of pancreatic and colorectal cancer cases among young people under age 50.

“What the f**k is going on?” Couric asked during a recent episode of Kara Swisher’s podcast. She mentioned a 21-year-old college student with no family history of cancer who was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer.

“I am hearing more and more about people in their early forties, thirties, even twenties, being diagnosed with this disease at an advanced stage, often metatastic colorectal cancer. I can’t even tell you guys how crushing it is… There is something going in our environment. It’s not just obesity or sedentary lifestyle.”

Couric suggested the increase in colorectal cancer rates may be caused by ultra-processed food, microplastics, forever chemicals, and over-prescription of antibiotics.”

Couric, who is vaccinated, pushed the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines on her platforms. She debunked “misinformation” and “myths” about mRNA vaccines on her personal website.

In one article, Couric and Dr. Nina Shapiro discussed the safety of Covid-19 mRNA vaccines for pregnant women.

One year later, Couric was diagnosed with breast cancer.

A Kansas City woman who was on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list was captured in Florida after 6 years on the run.

On Wednesday, FBI Director Kash Patel announced KaShawn Nicola Roper, 50, was captured in High Springs, Florida.

The FBI added Roper to the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted list on Tuesday, and offered a $1 million reward for information leading to her arrest.

Tips flooded in after the FBI announced the unusually high reward.

Roper was booked into the Alachua County jail pending extradition to Kansas City.

She is accused of shooting into an occupied car and killing 23-year-old Jazmyn Henrion in Kansas City on August 23, 2020. Another woman in the car was wounded.

Roper is charged with second-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Police Department announced Roper was added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. A reward of $1 million was offered for her arrest.

Social media users questioned why the reward amount was so high for Roper.

One X.com user wrote: “Why they giving so much for her? Something sounds suspicious.”

Another X user wrote: “A million dollar award? Who the f**k she kill.”

Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson said Roper will “now face the full weight of accountability for her alleged actions in 2020.”

D4vd has finally been arrested in the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. He was arrested at a home in the Hollywood Hills on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The 21-year-old “Romantic Homicide” singer is being held in the LA County Men’s Central jail without bond.

Sources told ABC News the arrest is based on evidence and probable cause that was developed over 7 months.

Los Angeles police said the case will be presented to the district attorney’s office in Los Angeles on Monday.

Burke was named as a suspect in the case in November 2025.

In September 2025, the decomposed body of a young girl was found inside the front trunk of an impounded Tesla registered to Burke.

The weight of the evidence pointed to Burke, who allegedly groomed Hernandez on Roblox when she was only 12 years old.

In a bizarre twist, the LAPD reportedly investigated a rumor that Burke mixed the dead teenager’s blood in red paint for his bloody shirt tour merchandise.

The button-down shirts splattered with fake blood were sold for $35 on his official site.

In a live-stream video, David is seen in the same living room holding the type of knife used by hunters to skin animals.

He abruptly removed the bloody shirts from his website days before the FBI executed a search warrant at his $20,000 a month rental property in the Hollywood Hills.

According to reports, authorities contacted fans who purchased the bloody shirts to test the merchandise for forensic evidence.

Hernandez reportedly lived with Burke at two rental properties about a mile apart in the Hollywood Hills. There are rumors that she was killed and her body dismembered at one of the rental properties.

There are also rumors that Hernandez’s remains were chopped up and stored in a freezer for weeks or months until Burke went on tour on August 31.

Burke and Hernandez were allegedly involved in a 3-year relationship that began when she was 12 and he was 18. Her mother reported her missing from the family home in Lake Elsinore, CA. in April 2024.

The teen was last seen online around January 2025. Family members last heard from her in July 2025.

The case took a turn when Burke’s alleged boyfriend, Neo Langston was arrested and forced to testify before a grand jury.

Investigators believe Neo is the man seen near the Tesla when it was parked for the final time before being towed by police in September.

No other arrests have been made.

A former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive end is charged with impersonating Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. to take out a $3.3 million loan.

Luther Davis is accused of impersonating three NFL players to apply for millions of dollars in loans.

Police say Davis wore wigs and used fake driver’s licenses to apply for loans as Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku and Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney.

Prosecutors say Davis ran a $20 million fraud scheme from May 2023 to October 2024.

“The court documents state that none of the players had authorized the loans and that fake email accounts were created without their knowledge,” wrote ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.

Rothstein wrote Thursday that Davis and his partner, CJ Evins, went to great lengths to impersonate the Falcons quarterback and the other two players.

Court documents filed in Atlanta on March 19, alleges that Davis and Evins registered companies similar to the names of the three players.”

“To convince lenders they were the three players, the court documents allege that Davis and Evins ‘fabricated personal financial statements, Secretary of State documents, and bank statements for companies purportedly operated by the players,'” added Rothstein.

Davis applied for 13 bank loans for more than $19.8 million.

In March the FBI announced an imposter posed as McKinney and took out a $4.375 million loan.

The lender, Aliya Sports Finance Fund, is suing broker Sure Sports for failing to do its due diligence before introducing the imposter to the lender.

The NFL Players Association recently warned NFL players and sports agents, following the arrest of Kwamaine Jerrell Ford for allegedly posing as a female adult film star to scam NBA and NFL athletes.

Dallas Wings PR shuts down reporter’s question about Azzi Fudd & Paige Bueckers

The Dallas Wings shut down a reporter’s question to Azzi Fudd about her longterm relationship with teammate Paige Bueckers.

Azzi and Paige won an NCAA National Championship together at UConn.

During an introductory press conference for Azzi, a reporter said, “Paige announced last year on TikTok that y’all were a couple. And I’m wondering if that’s still the case? And if so, if y’all have talked to any other [lesbian] couples in the league about how they negotiate that dynamic as pro teammates?”

Before Azzi could answer the reporter’s question, the team’s publicist said, “I understand why you have to ask that question, but we’re gonna respectfully decline from commenting on our players’ personal lives.”

The Dallas Wings picked Azzi No. 1 overall in Monday’s WNBA draft. WNBA fans say that the Wings tanked their season to get Azzi. So why don’t they want reporters to ask questions about the young couple?

Former Sports Illustrated writer Jeff Pearlman said in a TikTok post:

“Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers are in a long-term relationship, and nobody’s mentioning it. And the WNBA clearly has asked people not to mention it. And it’s very journalistically confusing to me.”

In 2025, the same Dallas Wings acquired NaLyssa Smith (right) from the Indiana Fever so she could play with her then-girlfriend, DiJonai Carrington (left). But the two women broke up and both were traded to other teams.

The WNBA currently has 4 or more teams with lesbian couples and the entire league is 80% LGBTQIA+.

The wife of a Long Island man who died after he was sucked into an MRI machine is suing the radiology clinic.

Keith McAllister’s widow, Adrienne Jones-McAllister, filed a lawsuit against Nassau Open MRI.

Keith McAllister tragically died after he was sucked into the MRI machine while wearing a heavy chain around his neck.

The accident happened on July 16, 2025, when McAllister accompanied his wife to the radiology office to get an MRI scan of her knee.

After the imaging was completed, the MRI technician asked McAllister to help his wife down from the table.

But the powerful magnet caused him to be “drawn into” the machine, according to the lawsuit, obtained by PEOPLE.

Jones-McAllister’s daughter, Samantha Bodden, said McAllister “was attached to the machine for almost an hour before they could release the chain from the machine.”

He died the next day after suffering several heart attacks.

Bodden launched a GoFundMe to help pay her mother’s living expenses after the loss of McAllister’s income.

Jones-McAllister “witnessed and was totally aware through all of her senses” as her husband suffered through his injuries up until his July 17 death, the lawsuit claimed.

MRI machines use powerful magnets to take detailed images of internal organs. The room must be cleared of all metallic objects, including jewelry, before operating an MRI machine.

Adrienne Jones-McAllister accused the MRI clinic of negligence for “failing to inform McAllister to remove the chain from his neck and permitting him to enter the MRI room.”

Jones-McAllister previously explained that her husband suffered several heart attacks and died, News 12 Long Island reported. “He went limp in my arms,” she told the outlet in July 2025.

“Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night,” Anna told Conan, as the audience erupted in laughter.

“She’s very mature,” Anna added

When Conan asked if Katy “just does that,” to women, Anna replied that her designer gown with its plunging neckline was “kinda asking for it.”

“If nobody had done it, I would’ve been a little sad,” she joked.

But Anna isn’t laughing now that Ruby Rose has come forward with her allegations against Katy.

Ruby Rose (pictured) claimed Katy sexually assaulted her at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia back in the day. The club’s manager claims both Ruby Rose and Katy Perry were drunk that night.

The former manager of the now-shuttered Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne, told the Herald Sun that he never saw the alleged incident, but he confirmed that both women “had way too much to drink.”

Now the police in Australia are investigating Ruby Rose’s accusation.

Melbourne police confirmed they are investigating a “historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010”.

“As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage,” a Melbourne police spokesperson said.

Rapper Future was hit with a new paternity suit for his 9th child. A Florida woman claims the promiscuous rapper, 42, is the father of her 9-year-old son.

According to TMZ, Layla Sanad has been battling Future in court.

Layla filed the suit in Florida to establish paternity. She requested a court order requiring him to pay child support for 2 years retroactively.

Layla confirmed she was in a romantic relationship with Future, and they produced a son, K.W., born in 2017. She claims Future admits to being the father, but he refuses to pay child support.

Future responded by filing court documents asking for the Florida case to be moved to “a more convenient forum.”

Future, who has residences in Florida and Georgia, claims that Layla and her son lived in Arizona, so he filed his own case in that state.

In his court papers, Future identified the boy as Kash Wilburn. He said he voluntarily paid Layla $3,500 a month in child support. But the Instagram model wants substantially more money.

Future has 8 other children, including Future Zahir Wilson, his 11-year-old son with pop star Ciara. Russell Wilson, Ciara’s husband and the father of her three other children, is raising Future as his own son. The couple filed to add “Wilson” to Future’s government name.

Ciara and Future dated briefly before getting engaged in October 2013. They split the following August when Future got cold feet, just three months after they welcomed their son.

Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and Wife Dead in Murder-Suicide

Former Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax fatally shot his wife, Cerina Fairfax, before turning the gun on himself in their Annandale, Virginia home on Thursday.

Cerina was shot multiple times in the basement of the house. Then Justin ran upstairs to a bedroom where he fatally shot himself.

Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said the couple’s two teenage children were inside the house when the shootings occurred. Neither child was harmed.

“Obviously, we have two teenage children who were in the house,” Davis told reporters on Thursday during a news conference outside the home. He said the son called 911.

“The son was the one who who called 911 during a very chaotic situation, and I can only imagine,” Davis told reporters.

“Our main concern is for their well-being right now, they are interacting with us,” Davis added.

Cerina had served Justin with divorce papers, according to court records.

They separated on June 1, 2024, but continued living together in the same home with their children.

Police said there were numerous domestic incidents inside the home.

“We know that recently, Mr. Fairfax was served some type of paperwork indicating when he was scheduled to next appear in court for the ongoing divorce proceedings,” Davis said.

He said Justin made a false domestic assault report against his wife in the months before the murder-suicide.

Justin called police in January and claimed that Cerina had assaulted him, but police found no evidence to support his claim.

“We responded to that scene. There are several cameras set up inside the house,” Chief Davis said.

“Mrs. Fairfax, at some point during these divorce proceedings, set up a lot of cameras inside the home. We reviewed those cameras, and we corroborated that the alleged assault never occurred. So there was no arrest made. There was a report written, but the allegation that Mr. Fairfax made in January that Mrs. Fairfax assaulted him was proven to be untrue.”

Cerina was an oral surgeon who operated Dr. Fairfax & Associates Family Dentistry.

On January 16, 2026, a Fairfax County judge said Cerina Fairfax didn’t state her intent to end her marriage to Justin. The judge sustained Justin’s objection to the divorce action.

“In the present case, Wife failed to plead her intent,” Judge David A. Oblon wrote.

The judge added that the postnuptial agreement, which included language about preserving their marriage, “tends to negate her argued intent.”

Justin Fairfax served as Virginia’s 41st lieutenant governor under Gov. Ralph Northam between Jan. 13, 2018, to Jan. 15, 2022.
