Serena Williams shut down those annoying skin bleaching rumors again. For the past year the retired tennis champion has been accused of bleaching her skin. The soccer mom’s skin looks lighter in photos due to makeup, lighting, the angle of the sun, etc.

Serena let her fans know that she is not bleaching her skin after rumors swirled online again.

“For you haters out there, I do not bleach my skin,” Serena said in a new video. “There is a thing called sunlight, and in that sunlight you get different colors,” she explained while applying makeup.

Serena said she doesn’t have time to correct her photos to darken her skin when she’s out in the sun. She wants you to take her word for it that the sun lightens her skin about 3 shades lighter.

Serena said she volunteered at her daughter’s stage play recently and she wore stage makeup that made her skin appear lighter.

“Yes, I’m calling you out on this because it is ridiculous that everyone’s like, ‘oh she bleached her skin.'”

“I’m a dark Black woman and I love who I am and I love how I look, and that’s just not my thing,” she said. “If people [bleach], that’s their thing and they have every opportunity and they should. I don’t judge – but you guys do [judge] and that’s what this world is about,” she added.

Serena said she stays in her “non-judging lane” and she doesn’t ever bleach her skin.

Sexyy Red is going viral on social media after her baby daddy accused her of spreading STDs. In several social media posts and videos, her ex posted a phone call with Sexyy Red. He is heard asking the 26-year-old “Pound Town” rapper if she’s “burning” and if she’s lying to other men like she lied to him. “When you gonna keep it gangsta?” he asked in the phone call.

The mother of 2 denied lying to him about having an STD. In another video, he explains that Red transmitted the herpes simplex virus and there is no cure. He also assures future booty calls that he’s not currently transmitting the virus because it’s not active. He shared a screenshot of a diagnostic test that shows the virus is undetected in a genital swab.

He then asked the raunchy rapper to post her test results.

Last year, Red seemed to confirm the rumors that she’s burning. She reposted a tweet of a fan sitting on the ground outside an emergency room. Near him are dollar bills spread out on the ground that spell “I WANT THE STD.”

In response to the post, she wrote: “It’s gone now mf I den took my meds.

Footage of the St. Louis rapper giving birth to her daughter in the delivery room was the focus of Drake’s music video for “Rich Baby Daddy”, released in February 2024.

Sexyy Red also has a son, born in 2020.

Jay-Z’s $575 Million Marijuana Company Goes Belly Up

Jay-Z’s marijuana company in California is strapped for cash and no one can find the marijuana products for sale at retailers.

In 2020, Jay-Z launched his Monogram cannabis line with $575 million in seed money at the famous Frank Sinatra house in Palm Springs, according to SFGATE.

Beautiful models smoked joints in front of mid-century pool furniture, and splashy articles in GQ, Vogue and Vanity Fair soon followed.

But, like most companies that Jay-Z aligns himself with, Monogram has gone belly up.

The company and its cannabis products can’t be found in any retail store. The parent company behind Monogram, also known as The Parent Company, burned through half a billion dollars before it merged into another company, which itself appears to be in financial trouble, according to SFGATE.

Seth Yakatan, a cannabis investor, told SFGATE that The Parent Company was spending “mind-boggling” amounts of money and that Jay-Z’s pricey Monogram products failed to live up to the hype.

“Monogram was supposed to be an ultra-premium product, and I don’t know anyone who tried it and thought it was anything more than mid-tier,” Yakatan said.

Monogram justified the high prices by saying its joints were hand-rolled with premium flower. But GQ said the joint failed to stay lit for “more than a few seconds.”

In 2022, The Parent Company reported a whopping $587 million net loss, and its stock price nosedived.

A year later, The Parent Company was forced to merge with another California cannabis company named Gold Flora.

Jay-Z and Monogram appear to have parted ways with The Parent Company in December 2022. It’s unclear if he plans to find new investors to relaunch the Monogram cannabis line.

A woman who intentionally went missing at LAX airport reportedly crossed into Mexico on foot weeks before her father killed himself.

Police in Los Angeles say Hannah Kobayashi, 30, intentionally missed her connecting flight to New York after flying to Los Angeles from Maui on Nov. 8.

Investigators reviewed hours of surveillance video at LAX and around Los Angeles. They spotted Hannah leaving the airport after checking her bag on the flight bound for New York.

She reportedly contacted LAX to have her bag sent back to LAX from New York. She picked up her luggage from LAX the next day (Nov. 9).

The professional photographer was also seen in surveillance footage at the popular shopping mall The Grove in Los Angeles on Nov. 8 and 9.

Hannah was spotted getting on the LAX Metro C line at Aviation/Century Station, a short ride from the airport. She was reported missing to law enforcement the same day.

Hannah was last seen on surveillance video crossing the border into Mexico on foot on Nov. 12. She was alone and did not seem to be under duress.

The confirmed sightings conflict with statements made by her family who say she did not intentionally miss her connecting flight to NY. They say Hannah was under the control of someone else and they refuse to believe the person seen in surveillance videos is Hannah.

The family is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Hannah’s location.

Hannah’s father took his own life after arriving in L.A. to search for his daughter.

Ryan Kobayashi jumped off a parking garage near LAX airport on Nov. 24. The building is one of the last places Hannah was seen. His family said he “died of a broken heart” over Hannah’s disappearance.

On Nov. 26, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said “the investigation determined” that Hannah intentionally missed her connecting flight to New York. McDonnell made the statement at an LAPD Board of Commissioners meeting.

The LAPD is attempting to locate a man and a woman that Hannah paid on Venmo shortly after she missed her connecting flight to New York at LAX.

Chief McDonnell said “no foul play” is suspected in Hannah’s disappearance. An LAPD source said Hannah is “an adult and she can choose to be missing” if she wants to.

‘Where’s Bronny At?’ Rumors Spread That Bronny James Suffered Another Health Emergency

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Lakers superstar LeBron James extended his streak of missed threes to 24. Grant Williams holds the record for missed threes at 25 misses.

LeBron’s slump on the court has led fans to suggest that his eldest son Bronny James may have experienced another health emergency. Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest in July 2023.

Bronny, 20, has not been seen in public since former NFL star Ryan Clark called out the Lakers and LeBron for their handling of the rookie guard.

“What Has Bronny James Earned?,” Clark (pictured left) tweeted. “You don’t get treated differently because of your parents. You get treated differently because of your ability to contribute,” Clark added.

The Lakers sent Bronny down to the G League full-time after Clark called them out. But Bronny only played 2 games with the South Bay Lakers before he went missing 3 weeks ago.

South Bay coaches claim Bronny has a “heel contusion” – which in medical terms means he has a bruise on his heel. But a bruise shouldn’t cause him to miss games for 3 weeks.

NBA legend Charles Barkley also criticized the Lakers and LeBron for coddling Bronny.

“They’ve handled it awful,” Barkley said. “I thought it was great, a little ceremony his first game. But the kid is not ready to play in the NBA.”

“He should be in the G League, so he can play basketball,” Barkley added. “He’s not going to get better sitting on the bench. This thing where he’s only gonna play home games? It’s stupid. It’s not fair to him. It’s not fair to the team. Can you imagine the coach of that team?”

In a live video reaction to the Lakers’ blow out loss on Monday, retired NBA star Gilbert Arenas said “Where Bronny James at? If I am coach, I’m about to talk to Bronny, ‘Hey man, how’s the heel?'”

Lakers fans blame LeBron’s slump on fans bullying his son online. LeBron quit X (formerly Twitter) because he couldn’t take the bullying anymore.

In a podcast on Nov 12, Bronny’s mother, Savannah James, shared her thoughts about how she deals with Bronny’s haters.

“I tried to stay away… Not stay away from the game, just stay away from the people so I don’t hear the banter,” Savannah told “Everybody’s Crazy” co-host April McDaniel.

“I’m an overprotective parent, too, and there’s only so much that you could take, especially when these are kids… I started to learn breathing techniques because I had to talk myself down from cussing people out.”

NYT op-ed blames Black ‘manosphere,’ lack of dating for Trump’s 2024 election victory

A New York Times op-ed writer blamed the Black manosphere and the lack of dating for Donald Trump’s presidential election victory.

In her op-ed titled, “How Our Messed-Up Dating Culture Leads to Loneliness, Anger and Donald Trump,” playwright Sarah Bernstein blamed the manosphere for being intimidated by successful women.

The manosphere (of which there are many) is a safe space for Black men to flee into where they can dialogue with men who share their ideals.

Manosphere blogs are locked and registration is by invitation only to keep women out.

Men created the manosphere because they don’t want to be part of discussions led by successful women who remind them that they are not breadwinners.

In her NY Times op-ed (short for “opposite the editorial page”), Bernstein, said the manosphere “reinforces the male breadwinner norm.”

She argued that “our cultural narratives still reflect the idea that a woman’s status can be elevated by marrying a more successful man — and a man’s diminished by pairing with a more successful woman.”

“Now that women are pulling ahead, the fairy tale has become increasingly unattainable,” she wrote. “This development is causing both men and women to backslide to old gender stereotypes and creating a hostile division between them that provides fuel for the exploding manosphere.”

Bernstein suggested that manosphere males are drawn to Trump’s masculinity, which they see as an admirable trait.

They have difficulty finding dates because most Black women vote Democrat.

“With so much turmoil in our collective love lives, it’s little wonder Americans are experiencing surging loneliness, declining birthrates and — as evidenced by Donald Trump’s popularity with young men — a cascade of resentment that threatens to reshape our democracy,”
Bernstein continued.

She argued that the manosphere is “a space occupied by new media podcasters and their favored politicians who win eyeballs, votes and dollars by selling a retrograde version of masculinity as the fix for men’s woes.”

She added: “While so-called female gold diggers are an obsession of the manosphere, much of its content reinforces the male-breadwinner norm — tying money to manliness and women’s preference for providers to biology,” Bernstein wrote.

In one manosphere post titled, “Men on social media are saying they’re tired of this body type,” the manosphere men critique a woman’s body type as “unnatural.”

There is even a poll in the post titled: “Is the BBL body played out to you?”

Over 60% of the respondents voted “Yes.”

A Caucasian boy is bringing afros back in style. The teen’s afro hairstyle, seen in a viral video, is causing a buzz on social media. The teen is sitting in a classroom calmly observing a mild disturbance between 2 other students. He watches intently as the 2 students argue before one hauls off and slaps the other.

The video would not be worth posting were it not for the teen’s perfect afro and the buzz that’s it’s causing on social media.

At first glance it seems that the boy is wearing a wig. But on closer examination it’s apparent that he’s wearing a natural blown out afro.

The video was viewed over 13 million times on X (formerly Twitter).

Sports analyst Randy Moss surprised viewers of ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” when he asked for prayers for an “internal” health issue.

In an Instagram live-streamed video on Sunday, Moss said “all you men” should “get your blood work done and we’ll work through it.”

The previous week, viewers noted the whites of Moss’s eyes were tinged yellow. In response to questions about his health, Moss confirmed he is facing a serious health issue and asked viewers to pray for him and his family.

“People were talking about my eyes last week,” Moss said as he turned the camera phone toward former NY Jets coach Rex Ryan.

“I’m battling something man and it’s something internal, your boy is going to get through it,” Moss, 47, continued. “I got a great team of doctors and got a great family around me.”

“If y’all see me with these,” he said, referring to the sunglasses, “it’s not because I’m being disrespectful because I’m on television, it’s because I’m battling something,” Moss told the ESPN audience.

NBA legend Michael Jordan also faced rumors that he has end-stage liver disease. The rumors started after this photo was published by Getty Images in September.

In the photo, the whites of Jordan’s eyes are yellow — a sign of jaundice which is caused by liver disease. In addition to liver cancer, hepatitis, and cirrhosis of the liver, jaundice can be caused by diseases affecting the gallbladder and the head of the pancreas.

DJ Funkmaster Flex confirmed Payola allegations by rapper Drake against Universal Music Group (UMG) and other music entities. The influential New York disc jockey declared “Drake is 100% right!”

As you know, Drake filed pre-lawsuits recently accusing UMG, Apple and iHeart Radio of conspiring to overinflate public interest in Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.” Drake also accused Apple Music and iHeart Radio of accepting money (payola) to boost music streams.

“DRAKE IS 100% RIGHT!” Flex wrote on X.

Funkmaster Flex listed Payola amounts paid for radio play including $350,000 for pop radio, $250,000 for urban radio, $100,000 for mix shows, and between $3,000 to $5,000 a week for a local DJ to play just one song.

Flex implied that payola is the reason why we don’t hear talented artists on the radio anymore.

“THIS IS WHY INDEPENDENT ARTIST DONT RISE TO THE TOP!” he wrote.

Flex distinguished himself from others, saying he doesn’t accept Payola to play songs on the radio.

“ALL YOU ARTIST KNOW I AINT NEVER TAKE A DIME FROM YOU, YOUR MANAGER OR YOUR LABELS! (BOMB HAS NO PRICE).”
