Beyonce joined Mary J. Blige, Jay Z and Sean Combs to help Barack the Vote in Philadelphia, PA. yesterday. There are reports of numerous problems cropping up at polling places all over the country today due to high voter turnouts and continuing shenanigans by Democrat supporters in Ohio.
McCain supporters in Ohio complain about voter fraud that is allowed to proceed uninhibited. You know there is a problem when officials don’t question voters casting ballots who have been dead for twenty years.
Meanwhile, Gov. Palin had to deal with smart aleck voters when she cast her vote at City Hall in Alaska this morning.
As she approached the booth, one voter asked: “Are you going to vote Republican?” Palin didn’t answer.
Mary J. Blige had to help Beyonce down the stairs to prevent another posterized moment from occurring. We LOVE Mary’s LV scarf and boots!

Hmmmm.. That’s odd. I voted in Franklin County in Ohio this morning with no problems whatsoever. I have been follwoing the election here in Ohio I have heard of no “shenanigans”. As a matter of fact, here is what one news outlet had to say:

In Georgia, you have to show your id, they changed the law last year.
I think if she really came out to help she would have worn more comfortable shoes to walk in. It is all about being seen and she does not seem to be taking this election very serious. She has on a hat that says CHANGE well she should start with herself and start being real.

A lot of civil rights activits took it to the GA Supreme court, but the law was upheld. For a couple of months, they allowed people who didn’t have id’s to get voter registration id’s for free…
IMO, I think that people need to have id’s in order to vote. I believe that the majority of people have some type of ID.

OH requires we present an ID or current utility bill with our name and address on it. I am not sure how long that law has been around since I am from California. When I left home (Cali), we only had to state our name and address.

I stated my street address and first three letters of my last name (and I have a long ass last name) and my name came up. No ID needed. I voted AT the Board of Elections.

I find that alot of people get confused about insurances covering their eye exams. The trick is that every insurance covers eye doctor offices, the key word being DOCTOR. Make sure that are seeing an Ophthalmologist not an Optometrist or Optician. Optometrist and Opticians aren’t doctors. So when you go to Lens Crafter or any of those type of places, most likely your insurance won’t cover it bc they are not doctors.

Lasik is not guaranteed. Your eye prescription changes almost every six months and it’s a safe bet that you will need to do it again. It’s a temporary solution, not permanant. It definitely works but not forever. It’s like any plastic surgery, you will need to go in and get touch ups every couple of years.
For that reason, I’m against it. But if you’re still considering it, it’s fairly inexpensive. Just make sure you have a board certified doctor.
