18-year-old Cherron Patterson and her 15-year-old boyfriend — both high school students — are charged in the beating death of Patterson’s toddler.

The autopsy on 20-month-old Imani Jennings shows old injuries and scars on her body, proving there was an ongoing pattern of abuse.

Jennings was beaten to death Friday. Police say her mother’s boyfriend, Anthony Weakfall, 15, hit the girl with a metal rod, cable wire, a metal spring and his bare hand for an hour after she urinated on the floor Friday morning. She was beaten until she was unrecognizable. He then left for school.

Police say Patterson and Weakfall returned from school that day to find the child’s lifeless body. Patterson then called 911 from a neighbor’s home.

After questioning, investigators determined for the last two weeks Patterson and her boyfriend Weakfall had been leaving the child home alone with only a bowl of chicken nuggets and a glass of milk. The pair also admitted to beating the child as a form of discipline when she would have an accident.

After four full days, investigators continue to collect evidence inside the Fage Avenue home.

I don’t get it… I thought Barack Obama winning the election was supposed to bring the country together and unify the races?

Could someone send a memo to this guy and tell him to get with the program?

Rapper John Forte is one of 16 people to receive a pardon or reduced sentence from George Bush before he leaves office January 20, 2009.

Forte, 33, a first-time offender, was convicted of possessing the 31 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute and was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years at Fort Dix, N.J. (Forte’s Web site)

With the commutation, Forte will be released Dec. 22, after serving just over seven years. He still faces five years of supervised probation.

Among vocal advocates on Forte’s behalf have been singer Carly Simon, along with her son James, and Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah).

“Now is the perfect opportunity for John to be given the chance to provide positive benefits to society through his considerable musical talents,” Hatch wrote to Bush in a January 2007 letter. Source

I didn’t even recognize ex-Danity Kane member D. Woods. I actually love her outfit. It’s not too revealing and she mixes a little couture in with that courtesan flavor.

I worked with the Dirty Awards when Marsha [Meadows] was in charge. She created it. What really pissed me off as with all the other Ghetto ass Hip Hop awards shows is the lack of respect.

I remember where we all artists, nominees, etc. had to sign agreements that there won’t be any weapons, weed, cussing, etc. Marsha asked everybody to be on good behavior because they were giving the tickets away to the general public and there were kids in the audience and they suppose to tape the show for DVD and TV show.

However, the first asshole, Big Boi, went on stage and said, “I am going to Strokers to look at some Pu$$y,” as he got his award and he said it more than twice. Then everybody just started cussing, Gorilla Zoe ramble some ish as the new BNDH member “F**K with me or F**k you”. In the front, all the artists started smoking weed. I went to the bathroom people were getting arrested in the bathroom.

I say this, I am by no way squeaky clean, but I have respect for people especially when they are trying to do something positive for us. Marsha spent a lot of energy in creating these awards every year for the same assholes that disrespected the show and her by not following the stipulations. She put them in place not to be a square but to respect the children and parents. They have sponsors that endorse the awards so that they can happen. We brought Hip Hop so far, where it created a billion dollar empire and it was used everywhere, NOW they managed to discredit and destroy 20 years of work by primitive and ignorant behavior. If you are claiming your hood, you a killer, sell drugs, stay your ass in the hood and kill ya self. Don’t f*ck it up for those that eat from this business because we live, breathe and sleep this business and trying to excel and build a reputable name so that it can be passed down.

I own a web development company as well and I CAN’T even show our portfolio of a lot of HIp HOp projects because they will reject us as a candidate because of our involvement. Now we can’t get the same sponsors, advertisers and supporter that we have gotten in the past because of our Hip Hop involvement. We have to create 2 totally separate brand and images for corporate and for entertainment which we never had to do. So yeah this whole thing is bullshyt.

Subject: Beyonce steals again!!! (Proof Inside)

Hi Sandra,

I’ll start off by admitting that I am a fan of Beyonce’s work. But as of lately, I’ve noticed that her originality is gradually fading.. Her performance at the American Music Awards most recently caught my attention. Through out her “Single Ladies” performance, I couldn’t help but notice that her dramatic dances, movements and animated facial expressions were easily influenced by performers in the gay ball room scene. But at the end of the performance, Beyonce blatantly ripped off the trademark “ponytail grip” that legendary ballroom performer Leyomi Mizrahi is known for. Beyonce actually channeled many different Leyomi elements during her performance. If you take a look at the YouTube clips below, you’ll clearly see what I’m talking about.

P.S. I’m not a hater. I love Beyonce. I just wish that she would be more original nowadays.
