New Couple Alert: Trey Songz and Mystery Woman
Singer Trey Songz, who is still the subject of persistent down low rumors, arrived at Monica’s Album Release party at the Gold Room last night with a chick that none of us are familiar with. So we assume that maybe Trey imported her from out of town like Ludacris did with his fiancee. Sometimes it’s better that way because the less people she knows in Atlanta, the less his business gets out.
Then again, she could be just a professional beard (like Amber Rose) hired for the night by Trey’s people to defuse those pesky gay rumors. If anyone knows who she is, feel free to drop us a line at sandra @ sandrarose.com (remove the spaces).

The Key Club was poppin’ last night at the Gold Room for Monica’s album release party. Monica regrets that she couldn’t attend her party because Jay Leno’s people asked her to perform yesterday in L.A. But Atlanta’s stars came out anyway to support, including rappers Nas, Bow Wow and singer Trey Songz, all of whom own homes here.

Willow and Jaden Smith were flanked by bodyguards and nannies as they attended the movie premiere of ‘The Perfect Game’ at the Grove in Hollywood, CA, yesterday without their famous parents, Jada Pinkett and Will. I still say these kids are too grown for their own good. My 9-year-old daughter would never come out of the house dressed like this.
Michael Jackson’s siblings Janet, Jermaine and Randy arrived at the Los Angeles Superior Court for the pre hearing of Dr. Conrad Murray yesterday. Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of pop singer Michael Jackson. Also arriving at the courthouse were their parents Katherine and Joe Jackson. This is such a sad case. Murray was allowed to keep his medical license until a later court hearing where it will be determined if he will lose his license to practice medicine. This case will be open and shut once it gets underway. Murray will not be found guilty of manslaughter since it can’t be proven that he caused the death of Michael Jackson deliberately, willfully and with malice of forethought. But Murray will lose his medical license because he did neglect his patient by leaving the room while a powerful anesthesia/sedative was infusing (he’s not an anesthesiologist). Therefore he violated the oath he took when he became a doctor (to cause no harm).

It must be difficult trying to buy your groceries where actress Halle Berry shops with all this foolishness going on. Yesterday, a few good samaritan workers on break stopped to assist Halle Berry through the maze of paparazzi as she was leaving Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills.
The gentlemen helped Halle put her bags in the back of her SUV as the paparazzi land sharks circled. Why doesn’t she just hire bodyguards?

Celebs Out & About: Ciara
Butch looking pseudo singer Ciara hides her face under an Atlanta Braves cap and black hoodie as she makes her way into the Warren Tricomi salon in Hollywood to get her weave tightened up yesterday. There’s word that Ciara is contemplating a move back East after telling friends she’s bored with the celebrity-driven lifestyle in L.A. “She’s sorry she moved [to L.A. from Atlanta]. She’s just another bug in the rug out in L.A.,” one of CiCi’s closest pals tells Sandrarose.com. The insider said friends continue to worry about CiCi’s mental and emotional well being after her quiet breakup with rapper 50 Cent.
It seems CiCi thought her move to L.A. would bring her more fame (and happiness), but instead she found that she got more attention when she was in Atlanta — and she didn’t have to call the paparazzi to tell them where she was going to be. It’s hard for a narcissist when you’re surrounded by bigger narcissists than you.

Aside from the obvious fact that her duet is with a non-black artist, do you notice how the video features extras who are mostly Caucasian and mixed children as opposed to Mary’s core demographic?
Buy Health Insurance Or Lose Your IRS Tax Refund
Now that Barack Obama’s health insurance bill squeaked by with just 4 votes, the only thing left to do is figure out just how the government plans to enforce the individual mandate in ObamaCare that says everyone must buy health insurance or be fined — read on.
According to political analysts, it will take an additional 17,000 new IRS workers just to enforce the individual mandate if even 50% of you decide you’re not going to buy health insurance.
That’s a whopping $850,000,000 just to hire those additional IRS workers to collect the taxes from people who will refuse to buy health insurance in 2014 when the mandate goes into affect. So snatching your tax refund before you can cash it will be a cheaper option.
Individuals who don’t purchase health insurance may lose their tax refunds according to IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman. After acknowledging the recently passed health-care bill limits the agency’s options for enforcing the individual mandate, Shulman told reporters that the most likely way to penalize individuals that don’t comply is by reducing or confiscating their tax refunds.
