Source: Ciara is still blacklisted within the music industry
Do you recall back in 2008 when I told you that fading R&B singer Ciara was being blacklisted in the industry?
Well, nothing has changed much in two years; Ciara’s career is still on pause. And now comes word that Ciara’s vocals are being scratched from an Usher track off his upcoming EP. The reason, Ciara’s stank attitude — what else?
Singer-songwriter Nire AllDaihas has dampened the hopes of Ciara fans everywhere by implying it’s highly unlikely they will ever hear Usher’s new single ‘Hot Toddy’ with the singers vocals on it.
She claims that Ciara “murked it” on the song, and cited music “industry politics” as the reason why the song may never get released. “To those who are asking about the Ciara version, sadly it will probably never be released” she explains with much regret “I happened to be in the lab the weeks they were mixing the song”.

This is confirmation that the R&B songstress DID contribute to the song and her version was set to appear on Usher’s EP ‘Versus’. The tracklisting cited both Ciara and rapper Jay-Z as having features on the track. However, it was later confirmed that Ciara would no longer be appearing on the cut, disappointing fans in the process. Young Jeezy on Rick Ross Diss: “it’s not a diss”
Yesterday, rapper young Jeezy responded to the speculation among rap fans that he dissed his label mate, Rick Ross, in a scathing track off his latest mixtape.
Jeezy dropped “Death B4 Dishonor” (B.M.F. Remix) on Monday, sending the Internets atwitter with rumors about a rap beef. But in an exclusive inteview with MTV.com, Jeezy says it wasn’t a diss.

Meanwhile, both Jeezy and Rick Ross have now dropped the name of the South’s preeminent club owner, Alex Gidewon of AG Entertainment Group, in their raps.
Ross, who has become a staple at Alex’s clubs, kicked the honor off first with this line in “MC Hammer” off his Teflon Don CD: “Puchi puchi money long/ Now we call him Alex.”
Lorenzen Wright’s wife and children evicted from home
According to WREG in Tennessee, the wife of slain NBA player Lorenzen Wright, Sherra Wright, was evicted from her Collierville, TN home.
The home is up for foreclosure and will be sold on the courthouse steps later this month.
According to neighbors, Sherra Wright and her 6 children moved into the home that she rented last November. The Wrights also have two other homes that fell into foreclosure, leaving Sherra Wright with a debt of $2.5 million.
Sherra Wright’s attorney, Gail Mathes, says she is moving her kids to live with one of Lorenzen Wright’s parents, Herb Wright, or Deborah Marion in Southeast Memphis.
Mathes says the children, especially the older boys, are having a hard time dealing with the death of their father and the allegations that their mother could be involved.
Mathes says, “They are trying to have privacy. The children are in a lot of pain. The more family support they have, the easier they will have it.”
Sherra Wright has also taken her children out of their school.
Meanwhile, we now know what police were looking for when they conducted a search of the home last weekend.
Court documents show that police searched the home for paperwork on two guns that Wright was believed to own, as well as ammunition and cell phones.
The documents indicate Wright could have been shot with his own weapons because “shell casings of different calibers were recovered with Wright’s body.”
Report: Fantasia Attempted Suicide
According to a report published on RadarOnline.com, troubled R&B singer Fantasia was rushed to a N. Carolina hosiptal following an attempted suicide, not an accidental overdose.
According to a report filed with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers responded on Monday evening at 8:43 p.m. to a suicide attempt call at a home on Bevington Place, Charlotte.
Police sources and sources close to the investigation say Barrino was found in the closet of the Glynmoor Lakes neighborhood home and she was taken to Mercy South Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville.
Joseph Barrino, Fantasia’s father, told RadarOnline that his daughter was “doing fine.”
Fantasia, who was accused of being a home wrecker by her boyfriend‘s estranged wife, ingested an unknown quantity of medication and suffered “internal injuries” as a result.
Paula Cook, pictured above with one of her children, accused Fantasia of introducing her husband, Antwaun, to a lavish lifestyle that she could not compete with. She also alleged in court papers the existence of illicit recordings of Fantasia and Antwaun having sex. But Cook’s close friends say there are no such tapes.

Troubled singer Fantasia Barrino was rushed to a N. Carolina hospital last night for treatment of a “medication overdose.”
This news comes on the heels of a suit filed by Paula Cook naming Fantasia at fault for breaking up her marriage. Paula Cook included the words ‘sex tape’ in the legal documents, but Paula’s friends say there is no such sex tape.
Fantasia and Mrs. Cook’s estranged husband, Antwuan Cook, have carried on a very public affair for almost a year.
Yesterday, Fantasia’s reps rushed to deny the accusations against Fantasia, painting her as next to godly with the heart of a pure Saint. Sometime later, Fantasia swallowed the pills.
Im not surprised that Fantasia took such drastic action. Some people with Borderline personality Disorder will swallow just enough pills to make themselves sick in a desperate bid to gain sympathy.
I’m not saying this is the case with Fantasia. We here at Sandrarose.com wish Fantasia a speedy recovery.
According to the report, Barrino was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville around 8:55 PM … the report says her condition was not life-threatening.
