Celebs Out & About: Keri Hilson Tipsy in the Club?; Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan
Singer Keri Hilson had tongues wagging at Compound nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday night. Spies tell me Keri was a stumbling drunk as she downed glass after glass of Patron, Hennessy and Ciroc all night. “In my 14 years as a bartender I’ve never seen a celebrity get so wasted in the club,” said a bartender who asked to remain anonymous.
“She was drinking from glasses that didn’t even belong to her!,” he said. The bartender said at one point, Keri’s friends formed a protective circle around Keri to keep her from falling to the floor in a crumpled heap. “Her friends were all concerned about her,” said a fan who made a special trip to the Compound just to see Keri. “I felt so bad for her. It was so embarrassing,” she said.
Normally, a celeb won’t allow photographers to take a pic with a glass in their hand. But Keri was feeling no pain on Saturday night! Who knew she was an alcoholic? Now I’m sorry for all the mean things I’ve said about her in the past. Do better Keri!

Troubled rapper/producer Kanye West arrived back at his hotel in NYC today after debuting his new song “Runaway” during a lackluster performance at the 2010 VMA awards last night at the Nokia Center. The much talked about rapper performed in an all red suit as he closed the award show with his “woe is me” performance.
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan arrived at LAX airport today and was promptly ambushed by paparazzi and an overenthusiastic fan who thrust a pink top into Lindsay’s hand. LiLo who was on her cell, glanced nervously at her bodyguard, before accepting the gift from the fan. Lohan looked like she’s had another round of expensive botox treatments. She showed up at LAX with puffy looking lips and a black beanie on. The actress, recently released from the UCLA Medical Center, was part of a VMA skit aired last night during the MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Chelsea Handler.

Well as a seasoned connoisseur of the adult beverage….there were some do’s and dont’s committed in this scenario.
Never drink alone. DO drink with those you trust/love. Especially in the public. She had friends with her. A DD. Somebody to hold your head in the cah when things turn left. Or in the RARE case…drag your drunk azz out the club when you done had enough. You really find out who your home-peeps is in times like these.

Sandra, I understand where you are coming from. My father and his side of the family loves alcohol. Some can hold it and some can’t. For some strange reason I can’t stand the taste of alcohol – my relatives usually make a joke and say that I’m not a part of their family if I don’t drink….seeing how it negatively affects people, I’m glad I don’t drink it….I just know that while I’m driving – especially in the wee hours of the morning after partying, I have to be mindful of the drunks that are driving too – and be on the alert for them…..

Being a drinker and being a drunk are two completely different things.
I don’t drink; don’t like the taste, the smell, or some of the behavior that results from it. But I also don’t sit in judgment. As long as you’re not driving drunk or doing anything else that endangers innocent lives, I say do you.

@Laker , It went okay. My doc is sending me to a gyn oncologist for further treatment. She said only 20% of women with what I have develop cancer, the other 80% are generally okay. So im hoping and praying I remain in that 80%

My grandpa was an alcoholic and my mom will barely touch the stuff because of it. But as I told my mom, I’ll tell you Miss Sandra, “Don’t let someone else’s problem cloud your judgment.” Someone who gets drunk every now and then is not an alcoholic and it’s not cool to paint them with that brush.
And I don’t know what kind of bartender is hawking someone that hard that they notice them drinking out off all the classes. Aren’t they working?
