Jermaine Jackson says he regrets the disgraceful family feud that sent the youngest Jackson children running to Twitter in a desperate search for their beloved grandmother.

"Mistakes have been made and irrational things have been said on both sides in a highly charged emotional environment," Jermaine Jackson wrote in a statement to the Associated Press. "It is time for us all to draw a line in the sand and move towards peace, co-operation, love and healing."

Meanwhile, Showbizz 411 reports that the Jackson's attorney will file a pleading in court tomorrow to make Tito's son TJ permanent co-guardian of Michael's children, Prince, Paris. and Blanket. Katherine Jackson is the other guardian of the children.

Oh, and TMZ retracted their story about Janet Jackson slapping Paris.

Two Jonesboro, Arkansas officers are on administrative leave while police investigate how a 21-year-old man was shot in the back seat of their patrol car.

21-year-old Chavis Carter was in the passenger seat of a pickup truck that was pulled over by police before 10 p.m. Saturday night, WREG reports.

According to Officer Keith Baggett, Officer Ron Marsh found “some marijuana” and several plastic baggies when he searched Carter. A quick check turned up a warrant on Carter in Mississippi, where he lived.

The cops then handcuffed him, searched him again, and put him in the back seat of the patrol car. As officers searched the pickup truck, Baggett claims he heard “a loud thump with a metallic sound” on his trunk and saw Marsh motion to him.

Chick-Fil-A customers turned out in droves at Chick-Fil-A restaurants to support family values in America today. Thousands of people stood in long lines at Chick-Fil-A locations in Atlanta and Texas, as concerned Christians participated in "Appreciation Day" at Chick-Fil-A.

KSDK News tweeted this photo of a line queued out the door at one Chick-Fil-A location in St. Louis. The peaceful rallies were in response to the statements of big city mayors who promised to block new Chick-Fil-A restaurants in their cities because they objected to Chick-Fil-A president Dan Cathy's anti-gay marriage stance.

Chick-Fil-A's supporters made it clear that family values are their top priority -- not who people choose to sleep with.

View more pictures from Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day after the break. The national media won't show you these pics because they choose profit over family values.

LeBron James joined teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, of the elite Team USA, for a night of fun and drinking at the Funky Buddha nightclub at 3am in London early Wednesday. I'm told photographers were not allowed inside the club, but scantily dressed women were. Basketball players work up more than just a sweat on the court. They have physical needs that require immediate attention at least once or twice a day. But what their women don't know won't hurt them.

On Tuesday I incorrectly stated that Chris Brown fired his longtime manager Tina Davis. In fact, Brown hired Bu Thiam to head his management team. Bu and Tina will share management duties. I regret the error.

This post was originally written July 31, 2012 @ 12:03 p.m.

If you noticed a kinder, more intellectual Chris Brown tweeting on social networking website Twitter.com, there's a good reason for that.

6 months after telling the media Chris Brown would not give interviews in 2012, Brown's longtime manager Tina Davis has been fired.
