Who can forget when Nicki Minaj was a young stud who had the hots for rapper Remy Ma? In case you did forget, you can watch the video of Nicki professing her love and affection for Remy after the break. Nicki was crushed when Remy spurned her advances and basically told her to kick rocks.
But prison has a way of changing people like Remy Ma, who had a lot of free time to think about Nicki’s meteoric rise to the top (and how she can ride Nicki’s coattails now that’s she released).
Last week, Beyonce‘s camp apparently planted a rumor on the blogs suggesting a remix featuring Bey and arch rival Rihanna was in the works. A listing on the ASCAP music database website seemed to confirm the rumor.
Comments made by popular rappers T.I., left, and Nelly to racially insensitive gossip tabloid TMZ landed them in hot water with social media collective “Black Twitter” today.
Black Twitter went IN on television pitchman Nelly for promoting Cheerios instead of commenting on the police shooting death of 18-year-old Mike Brown. Nelly’s followers roasted the 39-year-old former rapper after he posted a photo of himself holding an “iced out” box of Cheerios on his Twitter.com account today. The unarmed Brown was shot to death after scuffling with a Ferguson, Mo. police officer on Saturday. Nelly and his family moved to nearby St. Louis, Mo. when he was a young boy, and he still owns a home in the area.
Radio personalities Ebony Steele (former Rickey Smiley Morning Show co-host) and Shirley Strawberry (Steve Harvey co-host) have a lot in common. Not only do they look alike, but, as it turns out, they recently shared the same man.
Apparently the playboy has a thing for female radio hosts with Halle Berry haircuts.
We now know why socialite Kim Kardashian-West posted a photo of herself and husband Kanye West kissing on an elevator on Monday. She was getting back at her former friend, Jay Z, for snubbing her and her family in a Malibu restaurant last weekend.
Many people assumed Kim’s photo was a direct diss toward Beyonce and Jay Z, who was roughed up on an elevator by Beyonce’s little sister, Solange Knowles.
The High Museum of Modern Art has rejected without explanation a painting of bordello singer Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy. Apparently Beyonce thinks she’s a modern masterpiece, and that her likeness and that of her child should hang in a museum for art lovers to enjoy.
