The corporate sponsorships keep rolling in for troubled music producer Kanye West, despite his recent rant against corporate greed. Footwear giant Adidas announced a new sponsorship deal with West worth $10 million.
$10 million might not seem like a lot of money considering the hundreds of millions Adidas and NIKE throws at professional athletes for endorsements, but West will reportedly receive royalties on his products. The lack of royalties is the reason behind West’s split with NIKE.
‘Glee’ star Amber Riley and her dance partner Derek Hough won the coveted championship trophy during the Dancing With The Stars Finale on Tuesday. Riley’s surprising footwork and her inspiring enthusiasm helped boost the season 17 ratings 17%, according to USA Today.
Riley said she had no hopes of even making it through to the final round when the season began.
“When I first started, I just didn’t think there was any way that I could win. It wasn’t a thought for me. It was just like, ‘Go and do your best, do your best,’ ” she said after Tuesday’s finale. “With every week, I kind of wanted it a little bit more and toward the end, I was just like, ‘Man, it’s actually possible. I’m in the finals.’ Getting through to the end was a reward in itself, but the trophy was the cherry on top.”

Conrad Murray should have said, ‘I catheterized Michael Jackson every night to keep him from wetting himself’
The Internet is buzzing about an interview given by Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s disgraced ex-personal physician.
The 60-year-old heart surgeon was released from a California prison 3 weeks ago. He immediately began giving interviews — in exchange for substantial sums of cash because he’s broke.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Murray described a very simple procedure performed by doctors and nurses in hospitals and clinics every day.
Rapper Waka Flocka Flame publicly apologized to media mogul Oprah Winfrey for calling her an “ugly b*tch” and for saying he wouldn’t “f*ck” her.
Waka tells gossip website TMZ he is ashamed of himself for disrespecting Oprah in such an offensive manner.
No surprise here. Aging rap mogul Jay Z allegedly spent thousands of dollars on a Belgium model. It is no secret that Jay Z routinely drops untold amounts of cash on discreet women who are paid for their silence. In fact, rumor has it that Beyonce had a baby to pressure Jay Z to leave the other women alone. Unfortunately for her, babies rarely keep men from straying.
Sandrarose.com was the first to break the news that rap mogul T.I. “Tip” Harris signed a new record deal with Columbia Records.
Friend of the blog, Shawn “Tubby” Holiday, Columbia’s new SVP of Urban A&R, was instrumental in getting the deal done. Shawn is pictured above with T.I.
Music mogul Pharrell Williams will executive produce T.I.’s fist album on Grand Hustle/Columbia in early 2014. DJ Toomp and Timbaland will also produce the much-anticipated project.
T.I. and his imprint Grand Hustle Records parted ways with Atlantic Records earlier this year. The split was an acrimonious one.
On Wednesday a Los Angeles judge ordered troubled singer Chris Brown back into rehab for 3 months after court documents revealed he threw a rock through his mother’s car window.
A report from the unnamed rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., disclosed that Brown became outraged during an anger management session with his mother, Joyce Hawkins, who suggested that he remain in rehab a little longer.
Brown, 24, followed his mother out of the facility, picked up a rock and threw it through her window as she drove away from the facility. Brown was kicked out of the facility earlier this week for violating a rule prohibiting him from displaying violent behavior.
