Celebs Out & About: Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert
‘Braxton Family Values’ star Tamar Braxton, 35, and her husband, Vincent Herbert, were spotted celebrating the New Year in Times Square, NYC. As we previously told you, Vince is unable to travel or leave New York because he is still receiving outpatient treatment for a blood clot in his lungs. No doubt Vince is thankful to be alive after his ordeal.
According to a source close to their camp, Vince is living temporarily in a hotel close to NY Cornell hospital where he receives blood thinners and gets his therapeutic blood levels checked daily. As a result of his illness, Vince reportedly lost over 50 lbs. But it looks like he gained most of it back.
Tamar, who has a home in Atlanta, visits Vince in New York often. The couple will star in their own TV series on the WE tv network titled ‘Tamar and Vince’. The show begins production in March.

NYE 2012 in Miami: Ludacris, Rick Ross, Mike Epps, DJ Khaled, Terrence J, Larenz Tate
Rapper Ludacris and his lovely fiancee, Fab Eudoxie, attended the New Year’s Eve festivities in Miami, Florida yesterday. Luda hosted the Red Bull Sound clash concert where he performed in front of thousands of enthusiastic rock fans. My source tells me the bridge to the beach was grid lock, so Luda hopped into his luxury speed boat to ferry his mom and his entourage to Bayfront Park.
Other celebs, such as actor Terrence J and rapper Rick Ross, hosted separate parties on the beach as well. My sources tell me that rap mogul Sean Combs filmed part 2 of his “Luck Be a Lady” commercials at his mansion on the private and exclusive Star Island yesterday. In addition to employing extra security, Sean reportedly installed cell phone blockers to prevent anyone from tweeting pictures. You might recognize some of the guys from the Ciroc commercial in the pic below.

Celebs Out & About: Rihanna, Angela Simmons, Russie Simmons
Rihanna, 23, is still on holiday in her native Barbados. She was spotted yesterday splashing in the surf with her family and friends at the beach. Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, raised eyebrows yesterday when they expressed their undying love for each other on the social networking website Twitter.com. Rihanna is typical of an abused woman who forms an unhealthy attachment to her abuser, even after he has rearranged her face, because she lacks the self esteem to move on.

Santa T.I.’s K.I.N.G. Foundation Christmas Giveaway
Last night, rapper T.I. (above left), his wife Tiny (far right) and his family gave back to the community at the Carrie Steele-Pitts Center in Atlanta. To kick the night off, the family acted out a play that was written by T.I.’s oldest son Messiah, 11. The whole family donned full troll costumes, and after the play T.I. changed into a Santa Clause outfit and passed out toys to the children.
The elaborate troll costumes were Messiah’s idea. He is pictured above with his beautiful mom, @LashonDixon, who is also mom to rapper Domani Harris, 10. All of the Harris children participated in the play! Gifts were handed out to the excited neighborhood children after the play. The gifts included toys, clothes, jackets, shoes, backpacks that were purchased by T.I., his K.I.N.G. Foundation and his record label Grand Hustle.

Krieger recently appeared on ‘Inside Edition‘ with Deborah Norville where she explained the benefits of eating healthy by including these 7 superfoods in your holiday meals.
Superfood #1: Kale
“Kale is great for your eyes because it has lutein that can help your eyes and prevent damage from aging.” Sauté it or throw it in a salad.
Superfood #2: Dried cherries
“Especially tart cherries. Interestingly, they contain melatonin which has been shown to help regulate sleep patterns.” They’re great as a snack or toss them in a salad, pancakes or muffins.
Superfood #3: Salmon which is loaded with omega-3 fats.
“Omega-3 fats reduces the inflammation in the body. So inflammation is thought to be at the root of many diseases, including heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, even cancers. Fresh salmon costs about $20 per pound. You can get a can of salmon which will run you about $4 per pound and it has all the omega fats.”
