Amber Rose – Fame ft. Wiz Khalifa

If you waited all morning to hear the new Amber Rose single “Fame” you didn’t miss anything. The track is every bit as boring as you thought it would be. Amber’s carousel ride, Wiz Khalifa, jumps on the track with a forgettable verse. The single premiered on Perez Hilton’s blog this morning.
Here’s what the former stripper had to say about her first foray into the world of music:
I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY! Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support.
This is a very personal song to me that I wanted to record for my fans. I want people to see the world from my eyes, you know, from BEHIND MY SHADES! It’s my interpretation of what it means to be “FAMOUS,” which is not something superficial but instead being self-confident and happy with who you are.

Jay Z – Glory ft. Blue Ivy

The baby is only 2 days old and already aging rapper Jay Z has featured the infant on this track entitled “Glory”. Even though he samples the late great Curtis Mayfield, this track doesn’t even compare to Stevie Wonder’s classic hit, “Isn’t She Lovely”, which also featured Wonder’s newborn daughter, Aisha – and which is obviously the inspiration for this song.
Jay Z shamefully tugs at the heart strings by claiming Beyonce miscarried his seed.
- You don’t yet know what swag is, but you was made in Paris, and Momma woke up the next day and shot her album package.
Last time, the miscarriage was so tragic. We was afraid you’d disappear but nah, Baby you magic!
So there you have it, shit happens, just make sure the plane you on is bigger than your carry-on baggage.

Common – Stay Schemin’ (Remix) ft. Drake, Rick Ross, French Montana & Beyonce

Supposedly, all of this beefing between two grown men — rap god Drake and lyricist Common — is over Serena Williams, whom both rappers are rumored to have tapped in the past. Since discovering they both had something in common (pun intended), the two men low key dissed each other on mixtapes and interviews.
Then Common dropped his single “Sweet” back in November. And with lyrics about “soft MCs” it wasn’t a stretch to figure out who he was referring to.
Then Drake responded with a soft lyrical lob on Rick Ross’ track “Stay Schemin” off his Rich Forever mixtape (“It bothers me when the gods get to actin’ like the broads”). But if there was any question about Drake’s intended target, Common left no such doubts. He remixed “Stay Schemin” leaving Drake’s verse intact. But he Photoshopped the single’s cover with the words “That Hoe Ass Nigg%” where Drake’s name was.
-
Don’t do it, ’cause every song you make Joe is really hoe music
I heard you said you wasn’t a bitch ’cause you sing
You a bitch ’cause you clean like the bitch that’s 18
Can’t say my name but rap about a nigga’s wife
You so black and white trying to live a nigga’s life
I’m taking too long wit this amateur guy
You ain’t wettin’ nobody, nigga
You Canada Dry

I love Drake like my son, but Common won this round. I mean, if you’re going to catch a body, let it be over a real hottie like Dania Ramirez, not a badly built broad who’s loaded up on steroids.
Cover Art for Amber Rose’s Fame Whore Single

Loyal reader Lisa McGhee sent in this exclusive cover for Amber Rose’s much-anticipated 1st single. Rose once made a living polishing stripper poles in Philadelphia until she lucked up with one of her customers — Kanye West.
Kanye was badly in need of beard services, having battled pesky ghey rumors for most of his storied career. Kanye made Amber into a star of sorts, and she made him look virile and very straight.
Eventually, Kanye got tired of Amber using him and he kicked her to the curb. So the former bisexual stripper found another sucker in smoked out rapper Wiz Khalifa, and now she’s using him to get famous.
Anyway, Amber’s single “Fame” will be released exclusively on Perez Hilton’s blog on Tuesday at 9am EST. But we don’t read that blog. So we’ll wait until Miss Jia posts the single on her blog to hear if it’s any good.
I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY! Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support.

Sneak Preview: T.I., Jeezy – F*ck Da City Up (Video trailer)

Grand Hustle has released another video trailer for T.I.’s reclamation mixtape “F*ck Da City Up”. After enduring accusations of being a snitch for the feds, T.I. is hoping to reclaim the respect that he thinks he lost in the streets when the feds cuffed him up on weapons charges.
T.I. tapped Jeezy to ride with him on the mixtape’s gritty title track. The mixtape will be available for free download on T.I.’s website, TrazpMuzik.com, at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s day. What do you kids think of the song so far?
Rihanna – U Da One (Premiere)

Troubled singer Rihanna premiered her music video for her 2nd single “U Da One” off her album, Talk That Talk. TTT has managed to sell only 320K units after 4 weeks on the charts, despite the fact that Rihanna has over 10 million followers on the social networking website Twitter.com.
The Melina-directed video is more of the same from Rihanna, slutty imagery juxtaposed with elementary lyrics backed by a simplistic track, and Rihanna’s dependency on pot (see screen grab above).
