Demetria McKinney, left, and Claudia Jordan are being recruited to pump life into the stale Real Housewives of Atlanta TV series, according to blogger ATLien of StraightfromtheA.com.

I’ve heard of Jordan (although I have no clue why she’s famous). And while the name McKinney initially escaped me, I am reminded that she is the wonderful actress who played the drug-addled Janine in Tyler Perry‘s House of Payne.

Hollywood couples LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian and Morris Chestnut and Pam Byse were among the well-dressed celebrities attending the Hollywood premiere of ‘The Best Man Holiday’ on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Written and directed by Malcolm D. Lee, Best Man Holiday reunites ‘The Best Man’ college buddies after 15 years over the Christmas holidays. The film stars Monica Calhoun, Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Harold Perrineau, and Eddie Cibrian.

Tiny and her supporting cast of temporary hosts Tami Roman, Trina and Claudia Jordan, are back with a new season of VH1′s Tiny Tonight. Tami, who will soon be unemployed when Basketball Wives is canceled, kicked things off by saying Atlanta women are the realest chicks she has ever met. Then the ladies dished haircare advice to the audience. The first two women to approach the mic were Caucasian women with real hair growing out of their scalps. The irony of two white women taking advice from black women who wish they had Caucasian hair is so profound.

I thoroughly enjoyed last night’s debut of Tameka “Tiny” Harris‘ new talk show on VH1. After years of playing second fiddle to her former Xscape band members, and even her superstar rapper husband T.I., it was time for Tiny to shine in her own right.

Unfortunately, Tiny chose the wrong co-hosts to share the spotlight with her in the series premiere which aired on VH1 last night.
