Love and Hip Hop Atlanta

Scripted reality TV series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta returned for the 4th and final season last night. An insider whispered in my ear that producer Mona Scott-Young has run out of fresh script ideas for the stale series.

Love & Hip Hop Episode 8

In last night's episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Kirk Frost is left at home to babysit the children while his wife Rasheeda flies to New Orleans with cast members Kalenna Harper and Karlie Redd. Kirk gets into it with Rasheeda's mother (who does her best Mama Joyce imitation).

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 Premiere Viewing Party

The cast of regulars showed up at last night's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Premiere viewing party held at the Suites in downtown Atlanta. The season premiere was laughable. In fact, I'm still laughing at the atrocious acting skills displayed by Mimi faust, Nikko Smith, Joseline Hernandez, Stevie J, and Rasheeda and her "I am not the father" husband, Kirk Frost.

What was producer Mona Scott Young thinking when she wrote Mimi's script? Did they really believe the viewing public would fall for that lie that Nikko's luggage was stolen and that somehow their sex romp video ended up on a notorious gossip blog?

Watch the video and see more pictures from the premiere after the break.

Kandie Burruss bridal shower

Earlier today, former Xscape singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris Instagram'd this photo from Kandi Burruss' bridal shower today. Other reality TV stars attending the event are Tiny's stylist Shekinah Jo, Phaedra Parks (RHOA) and Rasheeda Frost (Love & hip Hop Atlanta). Kandi and Tiny have been longtime friends since before they performed together in Xscape. It looks like Kandi is going through with the TV wedding despite rumors that her fiancé Todd Tucker has stepped out on her.

Waka Flocka

Producer Mona Scott-Young has apparently found a replacement for departing "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" loud mouth K. Michelle, who is joining the cast of the LHHNY to help save that show from cancellation.

According to reality show blogger Michelle of SFtA, rapper Waka Flocka Flame and his fiancée, Tammy Rivera, are set to join the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" hijinks next season.

Loyal reader S writes:

Sandra, The shirt Rasheeda is wearing looks like a piece from Kami Shade's line. If it is, she makes beautiful pieces but in my experience with her line the sequins fell off badly from my inital try on.... she does offer wonderful customer service because my money was refunded completely. I saw a few of your readers commenting about the garment. I also attached a copy of the dress I purchased from Kami Shade', when I wore it for NYE. Hope this is helpful!

The 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' cast made an appearance at Pearl Bistro in Atlanta Tuesday night. The spin off of the Love & Hip New York show is set to premiere on VH1 on Monday June 18 at 8 p.m.

Grand Hustle GM Hannah Kang is handling the promotions for the show in Atlanta. Hopefully she will add a touch of class. I'm hoping LHH Atlanta isn't going to leave a black mark on Atlanta that will be difficult to erase.

Pictured above, Lil Scrappy's mother, Mama Dee with Mimi, who owns (or used to own) a celebrity house cleaning service that catered to celebrity clientele. I bet she has some great stories to tell.

If you didn't already know, local rapstress Rasheeda's fifth studio album, Certified Hood Chick, is in stores now!

Don't tell anybody I told you this, but I heard that the last time rapper Nikki Minaj was in the A she had the nerve to try to step to my girl Rasheeda. Whut? She didn't know Rasheeda stays packing heat. But I'm sure she found out!

Unlike that hood rat Nikki Minaj, Rasheeda can actually rap and has had local hits. We here at Sandrarose.com love Rasheeda because she is real. She'll tell you about yourself in a minute. And she is never too big to attend another rapper's parties without demanding or expecting compensation. In other words, she knows how to be a friend and when to be an artist.

Rasheeda doesn't floss or perpetrate like Nikki Minaj either. And unlike Nikki, Rasheeda doesn't wear the same thing EVERY time you see her.

When asked about her nationality (because she does look mixed), Rasheed responds, "I am ghetto, classy, crazy, African American hood chick."

Oh, and, unlike Nikki Minaj, Rasheeda's long, wavy curls are REAL!

Personal stats: Rasheeda is married with children.
