Fans of HGTV’s popular home renovation show Flip or Flop are not surprised to hear the news that hosts Christina and Tarek El Moussa are divorcing. It was evident for the past 2 years that the couple would soon part ways.
Tarek seemed less than thrilled that Christina was pregnant with a baby boy in 2015. Tarek and Christina also have a daughter named Taylor who was featured in nearly every episode.
Tarek seemed more annoyed that Christina’s pregnancy caused a disruption to the shooting schedule of their popular reality TV show. Christina’s was the quintessential california girl. Her sparkling smile is the reason the show was renewed for 3 seasons.
HGTV’s handling of Christina’s pregnancy was even more bizarre.
She went from announcing her pregnancy in one episode to giving birth to her son Brayden a few episodes later. By the next episode, Christina was back in front of the cameras, tossing her blonde hair and flashing that thousand watt smile.
It’s easy to see why their marriage didn’t last.
