Update, Sept. 6, 2023 at 8:10 PM:

A woman who was caught making out with a Maryland cop in the backseat of his patrol car says their relationship was “not a one night stand.”

Virginia Pinto was the woman seen kissing Prince George’s County officer Francesco Marlett in a park on Labor Day.

She spoke out on Wednesday after video of their backseat romp went viral earlier this week. She said they have been in a relationship for 2 years now.

“That’s the main story — that this isn’t a little thing,” Pinto told The NY Post on Wednesday. “Of course, since he’s a police officer, it looks bad. But I just want people to understand that this was not a one night stand.”

Marlett’s estranged wife, Paula, lashed out at Pinto on Facebook. Paula told Pinto to “rot in hell b—h”, just hours after Marlett was suspended without pay from the police force.

It all started on Labor Day when Marlett was caught on cell phone video embracing and kissing Pinto in a park. The two lovers then got into the backseat of his patrol unit.

Bystanders were stunned when the patrol car began rocking back and forth.

“We got caught. It sucks, but this will pass,” Pinto told The NY Post.

“I’m living my life. I have children. I’m sure, as you guys know, I have a 15-year-old autistic boy. His father was Caucasian. I guess I have a thing for Caucasians,” said the mother of three.

“In my head, I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m going to continue living my life, doing what I’m doing. In my heart, in his heart, I know that I’ve done nothing. He knows. Paula knows. I’ve done nothing wrong. God is my higher power.”

Paula also gave a statement to The NY Post on Wednesday.

“Seems like Virginia has a mouthful to give about me when her husband left her dirty ass bc she can’t stop cheating and inserting herself into other ppls business,” she texted.

“My husband used her for sex bc she was easy … He gave her broken promises so she would give him p*ssy. She’s easy. I never put our marriage out there bc like all marriages we hit a rough patch. We get thru everything at the end of the day [sic].”

Nelson Ochoa told WRC-TV that he stopped to film the now-viral video clip while playing soccer with his family at Southlawn Park in Oxon Hill.

“We couldn’t believe what we were seeing, and what really made us go, ‘Wow, this is crazy,’ is when the car started rocking a little bit to the left and right. That’s when we were, like, this is crazy. In broad daylight with kids around.”

Ochoa continued: “I’m glad I caught it on camera so Prince George’s could see what kind of officers they have working for them supposedly protecting the community.”

Marlett was outed as the amorous cop when the video went viral.

“As soon as we became aware earlier today, we opened an investigation to determine the circumstances,” the police department tweeted on Tuesday.

“The officer has been identified. His police powers are now suspended as the investigation continues,” a Prince George’s Police Department spokesperson said in an update on Tuesday.

This is the third suspension for Marlett, according to DailyMail.com. He was suspended without pay in 2016 for allegedly punching his then-girlfriend’s three-year-old son and knocking the child unconscious. The charge was later dropped for unknown reasons.

Marlett was also suspended for one month in May 2023 after being accused of domestic violence. But that charge was dropped and he returned to duty in June, WBFF-TV reported.
