Usher Didn’t Know Tameka Was Planning Surgery

In Touch magazine has confirmed what some of us in the industry already suspected, that Usher didn’t know his wife was in Brazil undergoing a liposuction procedure. [LINK]
According to In Touch, Usher learned about the surgery the same day we all did. This explains why Tameka suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday (2/6), but Usher didn’t rush to her side until Saturday afternoon (2/7).
Tameka went to Brazil rather than having the simple lipo procedure performed here in Atlanta, because she didn’t want anyone to know.
Brazilian plastic surgery clinics and resorts offer absolute privacy for celebs and the well-to-do.
In the hours following news of Tameka’s botched surgery, one of Tameka’s friends told Sandrarose.com that Usher did not accompany his wife to Brazil because he didn’t approve of plastic surgery. He was happy with her the way she was.
Unfortunately, women like Tameka, who suffer from Body Image Disturbance issues are never satisfied with the way they look.
In their minds there’s always room for improvement.
Students Not Impressed With Obama’s Speech Yesterday

Kids say the darnedest things sometimes. Students at Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona, were not at a loss for words when asked their opinions on Barack Obama’s speech at their school yesterday.
Some students were flat out not impressed with Obama’s plan to jump start the economy.
“Overall I think it’s a good idea, but he’s not addressing the issues of the economic crisis,” said Senior Syna Daudfar. “The spending bill he just passed is just progressing the Democratic agenda rather than addressing the economic issues in the country.”
At one point, when Obama talked about some of the spending in his pork-filled bill, senior Maaike Albach and Daudfar looked at each other and said, “uh-oh.”
“This puts us more into debt,” said Albach, 18. “It’s a horrible situation we’re in.”
Other students thought the former junior Senator from Illinois — who voted “present” 130 times — was in way over his head.
“I just don’t believe all the things he’s telling us. His goal is just too big and broad,” said Senior Brandon Miller, 18, who wore a t-shirt with the words, “Hitler gave great speeches, too” above a picture of Obama.
Is This Kanye’s Girl in the Arms Of Another Woman?

Yesterday a loyal reader, who shall remain anonymous, emailed me a link to an online photo album that she said belonged to Kanye West’s new arm trophy, bisexual “model” Amber Rose.
Initially, I thought she was punking me, so I dismissed the email. But she emailed me back last night and urged me to take a closer look at the pics on all 9 pages in the album, which I did.
Among the numerous lesbo-erotic pictures were some of a woman who closely resembles Amber in various erotic poses with a cute Dom. The pics look like they were taken before Amber cut her hair off.
What do you think? The other pictures of Amber with Luda, Rihanna and Chris Brown are from the same album.

Coach to Player: “You Realize You’re Going To Miss, Right?”

Darius McNeal, left, missed two free throws on purpose to support grieving opponent, Johntell Franklin, who lost his mom to cancer
From ESPN.com:
Two missed free throws, ordinarily the cause of a coach’s headache, became the symbol of sportsmanship in a Milwaukee boys’ basketball game earlier this month.
Milwaukee Madison senior Johntell Franklin, who lost his mother, Carlitha, to cancer on Saturday, Feb. 7, decided he wanted to play in that night’s game against DeKalb (Ill.) High School after previously indicating he would sit out.
He arrived at the gym in the second quarter, but Franklin’s name was not in the scorebook because his coach, Aaron Womack Jr., didn’t expect him to be there.
Rules dictated Womack would have to be assessed a technical, but he was prepared to put Franklin in the game anyway. DeKalb coach Dave Rohlman and his players knew of the situation, and told the referees they did not want the call
The referees had no choice. But Rohlman did.
“I gathered my kids and said, ‘Who wants to take these free throws?’” Rohlman said, recounting the game to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Darius McNeal put up his hand. I said, ‘You realize you’re going to miss, right?’ He nodded his head.”
Said Rohlman: “Darius set up for a regular free throw, but he only shot it two or three feet in front of him. It bounced once or twice and just rolled past the basket.”
“I turned around and saw the ref pick up the ball and hand it back to the player,” Womack said in the Journal Sentinel. “And then [McNeal] did the same thing again.”
“I did it for the guy who lost his mom,” McNeal told the newspaper. “It was the right thing to do.”
Womack, overwhelmed by DeKalb’s gesture, wrote a letter to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle, which had first reported the story.
“As a principal, school, school district staff, and community you should all feel immense pride for the remarkable job that the coaching staff is doing in not only coaching these young men, but teaching them how to be leaders,” Womack wrote.
Womack, in his letter to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle, added this at the end: “I’d like to recognize Darius who stepped up to miss the shot on purpose. He could have been selfish and cared only for his own stats [I hope Coach Rohlman doesn't make him run for missing the free throws].” LINK 1 LINK 2
