Celebs Out & About

Troubled rapper Kanye West and his muse, Amber Rose, attended the Black Eyed Peas final stop of their tour at the Madison Square Garden last night. Does it look like Amber is picking up a lot of weight? They say she smokes that bud nonstop. That will put weight on you.

I almost didn’t recognize rapper Eve who was spotted crossing a street in Beverly Hills yesterday. Eve is embroiled in an international money scandal involving a former boyfriend. Rumor had it that investigators wanted to question Eve about her relationship with Teodorin Nguema Obiang, the son of an oil rich dictator from Equitorial Guinea. But Eve denied all the allegations with a terse note on her Twitter page:
“Non of that is true….Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet. It’s negative and I don’t f*ck wit negativity. People trynna Test me. Now listening 2 Sizzla “praise ye Jah” and “head over hills”

FanMAIL: Kandi Burruss

Earlier in the week I wrote this post at the urging of an associate of RHOA’s cast member Kandi Burruss. He feared that Kandi’s TAGS boutique was going out of business due to lack of promotion.
Kandi opened TAGS Boutique last November amid much fanfare. But the fanfare quickly died down as did sales which had been brisk during the initial period following the Grand Opening.
Noting how much time Kandi spent on Twitter.com promoting her own interests, Kandi’s associate challenged me to search Twitter.com for any instances where Kandi mentions TAGS boutique in her tweets. Sure enough, I was unable to find any instances where TAGS was mentioned by Kandi in her tweets in the past 2 weeks (the service limits searches to 2 weeks).
In fact, Kandi didn’t respond to any of the tweets that I found from her followers who mentioned TAGS. There was no response to the woman who queried Kandi about her shop being closed during business hours the 3 times she visited.
Typical of most narcissists, Kandi didn’t feel the need to respond to such petty inquiries about her shop from her followers — until she was publicly put on blast Tuesday.
Once my post went up on Tuesday, Kandi rushed to her Twitter account where she mentioning TAGS boutique more times in that one day than she’s done since the store opened.
In a subsequent interview with AJC writer Rodney Ho of Radio & TV Talk blog, Kandi disputed the fact that her boutique was on the verge of going out of business. She acknowledged that business was slow during the month of January, but she attributed the slowdown to the time of year — not to the fact that she stopped promoting the boutique shortly after it opened.
She also explained why the boutique was closed when her Twitter follower stopped by during business hours (Kandi said she closed the shop early to attend Tiny & Toya’s Alzheimer’s benefit). But she didn’t give an excuse for the other times the shop was shuttered.
There was no mention of the fact that Kandi selfishly continues to promote her online video streaming show on Twitter, while making nary a mention of her shop. I won’t reveal who asked me to write the post about TAGS closing. But let’s just say that he was quite satisfied with the sales boost the shop received from all the exposure.

Kandi commented on twitter that it wasnt true about what you wrote about TAGS.. but reading your story and i follow kandi, she hasnt talked about the store lately,,, she talked about the store only the first two weeks it open and hasnt mentioned it since… seems strange.. I know you said her name is on the business license, but i dont think its her store at all, i think she was probably paid as a spokes person and model, i dont think she has any financial interest in the store.. she couldnt she doesnt mention the store at all….. she even did one of the ustream chat from the store like the second week it was open and hasnt done anything from the store since…. strange…
Producer Furious With Beyonce Over Writing Snub

I see you rolling your eyes. But trust me, this story shows the depths that Mathew Knowles will go to pull the wool over our eyes for his spoiled daughter, Beyonce. The acorn doesn’t roll far from the tree. You can see where Bey gets her dishonesty and evil spirit from:
Producer Rob Fusar, who has worked with the likes of Lady GaGa, Britney Spears and Will Smith, is furious that Beyonce took credit for composing “Bootylicious”.
Fusari tells Billboard magazine, “I came up with the idea to build a track using the guitar riff from Stevie Nicks’ Edge of Seventeen.
“I figured I’d put the guitar loop on there temporarily, and later go into the studio with a guitar and replay it, because I’d learned, after sampling Stevie Wonder’s I Wish for Will Smith’s Wild Wild West, that I didn’t want to lose 50 per cent of the publishing (royalties). I vividly remember telling Mathew Knowles, ‘Mathew, you got to book me into your studio and let me replay that riff.’
“He didn’t want to do it. So 50 percent got cut for one note. That whole experience was bittersweet for me.
“I remember watching Barbara Walters interview Beyonce about Bootylicious, and she told Barbara about how she came up with the idea for the track.”
Fusari, who went on to help Lady Gaga launch her pop career, insists he was brushed off when he complained about the interview, adding, “I called Mathew – which was a big mistake; I got emotional, and I apologised after – but I called Mathew and said, ‘Mathew, like, why?’ He explained to me, in a nice way, he said, ‘People don’t want to hear about Rob Fusari, producer from Livingston, N.J. No offence, but that’s not what sells records. What sells records is people believing that the artist is everything.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I know, Mathew. I understand the game. But come on, I’m trying too. I’m a squirrel trying to get a nut, too.’” Read More…

Chris Brown: ‘I Tip My Hat Off To Tiger Woods’

BIRDS of a feather flock together: Disgraced singer Chris Brown empathizes with disgraced golf champ Tiger Woods because he feels they both have suffered enough.
“My hat is off to [Tiger Woods]. I support him,” said Brown, who beat his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, into submission last year — in defense of Woods who cheated on his wife with over 20 women.
“Whatever his personal life is — and I think this goes for me and him — his personal life is his personal life,” the singer said on Mojo in the Morning. “I do music, I sing songs, like, I’m an entertainer, I’m a performer, but people make mistakes,” he added. “So my hat is off to him — I support him, I hope he gets back on the field and does his thing, cause he is the best at it.” Read More…

LOOK at me, I’m an attention whore!
Troubled rapper Kanye West posted this blasphemy on his website yesterday. Is there anything that this attention whore, Amber Rose, won’t do for some shine? Click here to see the original, classic shot of Grace Jones that this image mimics.

While in South Florida for the first leg of his BP3 concert tour, rapper Jay Z stopped by a studio to hobnob with the Neptunes, Chad Hugo, left, and Pharrell Williams.

Yung Berg Denies Another Beat Down
According to TMZ.com, struggling rapper Yung Berg caught a vicious beat down in a nightclub melee last night somewhere. I won’t bore you with the details. But once again, Berg denies any such rumors in a video clip that he hurriedly put online this morning. Isn’t Hip Hop pathetic when all we can talk about are rappers going to prison or getting stomped out?
Celebs Out & About: Rihanna and Melissa in London

Pop singer Rihanna and her BFF/assistant Melissa were spotted arriving at Heathrow airport in London this morning. Rihanna recently celebrated her 21st birthday in the states where she got a lap dance from a vertically challenged stripper, which was interesting to say the least. Rihanna’s male friend Matt Kemp was also at the birthday party.
