Rapper Li'l Boosie made headlines last year when he announced he had kidney cancer then deleted his Instagram post.
The deleted post led to speculation that he was lying about having cancer. Less than a month later Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was in the hospital undergoing an operation. Again, the rumor mill went into overdrive.
The rampant speculation led Hatch to post an Instagram.com image of his surgical scar. In the photo caption, he wrote: "I’m tired of these stupid motha****’s saying I ain’t have cancer… who wants to fake or lie about something like that not me. Well mf’s this my cancer scar a week after my surgery (FACTS)”
During Hatch's recovery period, metrosexual rapper Young Thug shot a music video inspired by Hatch titled "F Cancer", off his new EP I'm Up.
In the video, Young Thug dons pink surgical scrubs and impersonates a doctor to whisk Boosie away from his sick bed to a house party at his 9,000 sq. ft. leased Atlanta mansion.
The video also features rapper Quavo of Migos.
