A Fulton County prosecutor who allegedly said “We just want to “get the leader” – in reference to Young Thug – has reportedly quit the D.A.’s office.

The female prosecutor reportedly quit the D.A.’s Office a month after video went viral on the blogs. The video shows the woman asking Judge Ural Glanville to admit video testimony from a “lay witness” into evidence.

As she sat back down, she is overheard telling a colleague, “We just want to get the leader…”

Young Thug, whose RICO trial began on Monday, was in court in December when the prosecutor allegedly made the statement.

Young Thug’s fans speculated that the D.A.’s office offered his gang associates plea deals because they are only interested in locking up the Young Slime Life gang leader, Young Thug.

600 witnesses are on the prosecution’s list to be called to testify against Thugger during the RICO trial that is expected to last months.

Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, faces life in prison if he is convicted on all charges.
