Rico Love: “Monica and Amber are not recording a song together”
That Monica Brown is NOT recording a song with stripper-turned-singer Amber Rose. Mo’s producer Rico Love, who produced half of Monica’s much-anticipated album, New Life, is outraged that a certain blog “misrepresented” his hard work based on a photo.
“Monica was in the studio last night when La La [Anthony] stopped by and they took pictures,” Rico explained.
“[Amber] was just passing by and they took a picture together,” he said of Mo and Amber, who released her first single, “Fame” last week.
“They are not recording no song together!” said Rico via phone from his seat at Madison Square Garden where Mo’s husband, Shannon Brown, and the Phoenix Suns are taking on Carmelo Anthony and the NY Knicks.
“I’m losing my patience with this sh*t,” said Rico as he tried to be heard above the roar of the crowd in the arena.
Rico continued: “The only duets that Mo has is with Brandy, which is due out Feb. 6,” he said. “There are no duets with Monica and any other females, period!” He also revealed that the music video is slated to shoot next week.
“I know how sensitive these chicks can get, but we take our artistry very seriously,” said the producer who has worked with Usher, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and others.
“We’re not trying to act nasty toward anybody. But that was totally wrong information to put out based on a picture that was taken in passing.”
Monica’s album, New Life, is scheduled for a March 26 release.
Mariah Carey Lied About Nick Cannon’s Kidney Failure
When media mogul Nick Cannon was hospitalized two weeks ago, his worried wife, singer Mariah Carey-Cannon, took to her Twitter page and tweeted a photo of her husband in a hospital bed. She tweeted that Nick was in “mild kidney failure” and she asked her millions of followers to pray for him.
In my Medical Minute post on Acute Renal Failure, your auntie wrote: “Nick might not be in kidney failure at all (Nick and Mariah are such drama queens).”
Since we had no real information to go on — other than the photo and Mariah’s tweets — fans were left to guess what was really ailing Nick. I guessed that Nick might have compartment syndrome (a consequence of intense weight lifting which can lead to kidney failure), or kidney stones.
Yesterday morning Nick returned to his radio gig at 92.3 WXRK, and he finally came clean about what caused his illness: a urinary tract infection.
Khloe Kardashian offered $250K to take paternity test
According to gossip blog Radar Online, Khloe Kardashian has been offered a whopping $250,000 to take a paternity test to determine if she really is a full-blood Kardashian, or O.J. Simpson’s spawn.
The mystery surrounding the real identity of Khloe Kardashian’s biological father can be solved with a simple DNA test, and RadarOnline.com has learned there’s a $250,000 offer on the table.
Sirius XM Satellite personality Gregg ‘Opie’ Hughes of The Opie & Anthony Show announced on Tuesday morning that he would ante up a quarter of a million dollars if Khloe, 27, would take a DNA test to prove that the late Robert Kardashian is her father.
If Khloe accepts, the $250,000 will be donated to a charity of her choice.
We’re not sure if O.J. Simpson was offered money to take a paternity test, but he sure could use the cash. His $500K Miami home is in foreclosure and it looks like he might lose the house while he serves his prison sentence.

Rihanna’s record label went into damage control this past weekend after photos of the Bajan singer smoking a rolled up joint surfaced online.
Rihanna was seen smoking a hand rolled joint while vacationing in Hawaii on Sunday. Later that same day, she sent out a tweet to her 12 million followers on Twitter.com glorifying her alcohol and drug use:
“Kush rolled, glass full…I prefer the better things!”
The 23-year-old singer has been spiraling out of control since last Summer when word leaked out of her camp that she was an out of control alcoholic and substance abuser. Sandrarose.com broke the story first about Rihanna’s drinking problem.
Is Nia Long’s baby Caucasian?
I get the craziest emails from my devoted readers, but none stranger than the one I received today. It was sent in by a loyal reader who claimed to be a “close family relation” to actress Nia Long.
She asked that I not post the email or mention specific details contained within the email. But she wanted Sandrarose.com readers to know that the race of Nia Long’s baby is Caucasian — not black or mixed.
She wrote that the baby was the result of an in vitro fertilisation. An IVF procedure involves the egg cells being fertilised by the sperm outside of the body and then implanted in the uterus.
The email writer goes on to say that neither Nia nor her boyfriend, former NBA player Ime Udoka, are the biological parents of the 2-month-old child.
But why would Nia go to such lengths to have a white baby? My loyal reader said Nia visited a fertility clinic to undergo the in vitro fertilization because there is a waiting list for white babies through U.S. adoption agencies.
Will this be a new fad among urban celebs since white celebrities have been adopting black babies as accessories for years?

Trina & Tamar Braxton Discuss Infidelity, Gossip and Negativity
‘Braxton Family Values‘ stars Trina and Tamar Braxton sat down with celebrity blogger Karen Civil to discuss infidelity, gossip blogs and negativity vs the positive.
Trina opened about her husband Gabe Solis’ online voyeurism, and she revealed that they have been legally separated for a year because of it.
“We didn’t put this out there for the show,” said Trina, “but Gabe and I are legally separated. So Gabe has the right to do whatever he chooses and with whom…”
The pain and the hurt are palpable in Trina’s voice as she makes conflicting statements about her “relationship” with Gabe.
“We are talking and we are praying about different things… we don’t know where we are… where we’re going to be. Nobody’s relationship is perfect, and ours definitely not!,” says Trina.
The shade being thrown by Tamar as Trina talks about Gabe indicates that she doesn’t believe her sister’s words either.
We won’t comment on what Trina and Tamar had to say about gossip blogs and negative comments because we know that they are new to the blogs and they need time to process the fact that negativity and criticism comes with the territory when you seek fame.
Robert Kardashian Speaks from Grave: I’m Khloe’s Dad
Khloe Kardashian lashed out at her late father’s two ex-wives on Twitter.com for alleging that she was not a full fledged Kardashian.
Khloe was steamed at the 2 ex-wives for blabbing to celebrity gossip websites that Robert Kardashian, who died of cancer in 2003, told each of them that Khloe was not his kid.
“The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this!,” she tweeted yesterday. She added: “Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)”
But TMZ.com did a little digging around and unearthed an old court document that seems to suggest that Khloe might have sprang from Kardashian’s loins after all.
Robert Kardashian swore that Khloe IS his biological daughter … torpedoing claims by his ex-wives that Khloe was fathered by another man.
When Robert was seeking to have his 2nd marriage annulled from Jan Ashley in 1999, he submitted a declaration to the judge stating that the marriage did not work because Jan wanted to have his child … but he did not.
In the declaration, Robert says, “I decided that since I already had four biological children, I did not wish to have any more.”
Jan just told a tabloid that Robert had privately confessed to her he was NOT Khloe’s biological dad — but that seems to fly in the face of Robert’s own declaration.
Great work, TMZ! I’m sure this will make Robert rest easier.
