Ever since the Trayvon Martin vigilante murder case burst into the nation's headlines, media outlets such as CNN, FOX, and ABC News have gone out of their way to twist and distort the facts in the case.
George Zimmerman, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged with 2nd degree murder in the shooting case of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The overzealous neighborhood watch volunteer had a history of prowling his gated community, stalking black males and calling 911 to report black males walking.
Last night, while viewing a video of George Zimmerman's 911 call, which originally aired on CNN, I noticed the CNN graphic credited the dispatcher with saying, "And he's a black male?"
Actually, that is Zimmerman's voice heard on the tape identifying Trayvon as a black male.
But the media continues to distort the evidence to diminish the fact that Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon on Feb. 26.

Singers Monica Brown and Brandy Norwood performed their single "It All Belongs To Me" on ABC's 'Good Morning America' this morning. I wish Monica would have have canceled her appearance on the show. ABC News has joined CNN and Fox News in distorting the facts to support Trayvon Martin's murderer George Zimmerman.
Brandy is pictured above leaving the ABC studios where Good Morning America is taped. She's wearing a large city tote bag by CÉLINE and Christian Louboutin platform heels.
Monica is promoting her seventh studio album, New Life, which is in stores today. Please go out and buy up every New Life CD you can, because I'm hearing rumors that Monica and Brandy's record label is using Monica to push Brandy. I also hear that they plan to market Brandy's album more than they marketed Monica's new CD.
Watch a video clip of Monica's appearance on GMA after the break!
Years ago I wrote a post about Khloe Kardashian dating rapper Young Jeezy. Literally minutes after I published that post, an email from Jeezy's publicist landed in my Inbox. She wanted me to know, in no uncertain terms, that Khloe was not dating Jeezy.
9-time Grammy winner Mary J Blige probably never thought she would become a punch line at this stage in her career. Unfortunately, Mary now finds herself the laughing stock of the industry, after Burger King inadvertently released an unfinished commercial featuring Mary that went viral.
What could have possessed Mary to jump up on a table top and sing the immortal words, "crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, three cheeses, French dressing, wrapped up in a tasty flour tortilla"?
Whatever her motivation was, you can bet Mary regrets signing on to do that commercial.
Now, Mary's fans are uploading their own YouTube videos spoofing Mary's Burger King ad.
And Hot 97 in New York is holding a 'Chicken Idol' Crispy Chicken battle, and inviting celebrities such as 'Love & Hip Hop's Yandy Smith to do their own Mary J impression.
Most of us who didn't watch season 4 of Bravo's partially scripted 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' really don't care that the reunion show is coming up. But some of you do care. So here's the tea: RHOA veteran Sheree Whitfield has apparently been shown the door -- but she won't be leaving quietly. Sources say Sheree will "lose her mind" during the show's finale. She was irrelevant anyway.
It didn't help matters for Sheree that her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, started dating Atlanta blogger Michelle, owner of StraightfromtheA.
They say Sheree was so intimidated by Michelle that she apparently used her pull with the show's producers to keep Michelle from joining the cast 2 seasons ago.
Well, Sheree's "pull" is now gone, and apparently so is she.
Bob Whitfield's disastrous appearance on the show this season failed to generate a story line. So he packed his things and moved to the west coast where he has enrolled in college. According to sources, Michelle and Whitfield continue their relationship long distance. She is considering a move to the west coast, since Bob has no plans to return to the Atlanta area.
9 time Grammy winner Mary J Blige thinks Burger King knew exactly what they were doing when they posted an unfinished television commercial on YouTube last week.
The commercial featured a cartoonish Blige, 41, standing on a table top singing the praises of Burger King's crispy fried chicken wraps and all its toppings.
Mary's fans reacted with fury across all social networking platforms when the ad was released. But Mary tells TMZ.com she never signed off on the ad that sparked outrage on Twitter.com for its stereotyping of blacks and fried chicken.
Mary J. tells TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip."
Burger King yanked the ad from its YouTube channel, claiming the racist ad was released prematurely "before all of the licensing and final approvals were obtained." But that excuse doesn't hold water for Mary.
Mary tells TMZ, "I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."
Burger King has since apologized to Mary, and they say a new, completed version of the controversial ad will be released soon.
I bet a lot of heathens and sinners got right with the Lord yesterday. Nature's awesome power was on display when twisters and super cells cut a swath through north Texas. Shocking television news footage shows one tornado violently tossing 18 wheelers around like twigs. The power of Nature's fury was evident as high winds uprooted trees, cars and buildings with ease.
Thankfully, there were no deaths reported. See pics of the destruction and watch the chilling video after the break.
It is difficult for a narcissist with her own media empire to admit failure. But Oprah Winfrey, 58, did just that on Monday when she told Katie Couric that she made a mistake launching her OWN Network.
Oprah, who ended her syndicated television show's successful run at 25 years because a dying boy told her to, is struggling to accept defeat when she's spent the last 25 years winning.
Therapists often advise their stressed out patients to communicate with their younger selves in order to comfort and nurture them. Embracing your inner child is a method that some therapists teach to their patients who are on the verge of nervous breakdowns because of their intense feelings of inadequacy.
So Oprah wrote a letter to herself back when she was the youngest and first black female television reporter at Nashville's WLAC-TV.
"Dear beautiful, brown-skinned girl," she begins in her letter which is published in this month's issue of O magazine.
There was a time, not so long ago, when Mary J. Blige was on top of the R&B world. Her rich, superior vocals were compared to the likes of Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle. But you can bet that neither Aretha nor Patti would stoop so low as to sing for a Burger King fried chicken meal on top of a lunch table.
Thus is how far Mary J. Blige has fallen.
Yesterday, Burger King pulled the commercial ad featuring the 41-year-old singer after she was dragged unmercifully across all major social networking websites on Monday. How embarrassing for Mary, whose 1992 debut album, What's the 411? is still considered an R&B classic.
You can feel Mary's humiliation throughout the commercial as she wails the answer to the question: "What's in the new chicken snack wraps?"
The theme of the Burger King commercial is "Exciting things are happening at Burger King." Apparently, nothing exciting is happening in Mary's career right now.
The good folks from Turner Broadcasting reached out to R&B Diva Monica personally to sing the National Anthem live at the NCAA Final Four in New Orleans on Saturday. The Turner people didn't ask Brandy to sing the National Anthem. In fact, no one has ever asked Brandy to sing the National Anthem, to our knowledge.
Monica took her sons Rocko and Romelo with her to the Final Four in New Orleans to watch Kentucky defeat Louisville 69-61.
The NCAA Championship is tonight, but Monica and her sons won't be in the stands to watch. She's in California doing a photo shoot with Brandy as I type this.
According to new dispatch recordings just released, an ambulance was canceled for Sanford, FL neighborhood watch vigilante George Zimmerman the night he shot and killed unarmed Trayvon Martin.
The recordings, first obtained by the New York Daily News and then shared with Orlando news station Local 6, has shed more light on why Zimmerman's injury reports have not been released -- because there are no injuries.
According to the recordings of radio transmissions made by paramedics already at the crime scene, a second ambulance was called for Zimmerman, but it was canceled because paramedics said he had no gunshot wound.
If Zimmerman really had a head injury the paramedics would have noted those injuries during the call.
There is no mention on the audio of Zimmerman suffering from any wounds that required treatment -- such as head wounds.
The recordings also indicates that Trayvon may have been clinging to life when paramedics arrived on the scene.
Singer Toni Braxton, 43, hammed it up with her autistic son Diezel, 9, at 'The Wendy Williams Show' in NYC earlier today. Toni was promoting her new single "I Heart You". Toni and Holly Robinson Peete are among the stars set to participate in World Autism Awareness Day today (April 2). Holly and Rodney Peete's oldest son has autism. Toni also is reportedly tired of sharing the spotlight with her sisters on the successful reality TV show 'Braxton Family Values' on WEtv. Photo: Jennifer Mitchell/Splash News
The moment I viewed the George Zimmerman's booking video obtained by ABC News, I noticed slight imperfections, or wrinkles on his skull which are common to some men (and women) whose skulls are indented from birth. So I said to myself, "watch someone claim those wrinkles are injuries."
Sure enough, ABC News has pulled an "enhanced video" out of their butts, along with claims that the natural, fatty wrinkles on Zimmerman's skull are gashes.
On the night he gunned down unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman told police Trayvon repeatedly slammed Zimmerman's head on the concrete sidewalk. His lawyers claimed he was a bloody mess. Yet he looks pristine in the video.
There are no bandages visible on Zimmerman's head. And if Zimmerman was actively bleeding from head wounds as was claimed in a 2nd police report, where is the blood on the back of his jacket?
According to VH1 blog, Basketball Wives cast member Tami Roman, 41, was admitted and released from the hospital for a “mild medical condition” on Tuesday. Roman confirmed via her Twitter that she had a "mild heart attack."
Her publicist also confirmed the "medical emergency" in a press release:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NYC, New York- Last night, Tami Roman was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a medical emergency.
She has since been released and would like to let her fans and supporters know she is doing fine and looks forward to resuming her scheduled engagements. She will also be back on Twitter communicating with her followers shortly.
Roman tweeted this evening “Thx 2every1 for the get well wishes. Never thought I’d have a mild heart attack at 41. God has a way of bringing things into perspective. Finally going home 2my kids-heart meds and all.” We are truly thankful that her condition is not worse and that she’s well enough to leave the hospital. We’re thinking of you, Tami!
Sandrarose.com extends our best wishes to Tami and we hope she has a speedy recovery. So, what exactly is a "mild" heart attack, you ask? Read on.
We now know that the man who quit his job in order defend George Zimmerman to the national news media barely knows him.
Joe Oliver, a former CNN anchor, has been making the rounds of cable news and TV talk programs defending Zimmerman, the man who gunned down unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, Feb. 26.
it is not uncommon for former or current professional talking heads to offer their "services" to victim's families as "family friends" whenever a major news story explodes into the national conscience the way Trayvon's shooting has.
You would think that the media would be more forthcoming about the fact that they are interviewing one of their own. But they often don't because they don't want to jeopardize their access to the victim's family.
On Tuesday night, 'Last Word,' with host Lawrence O'Donell and his guests The New York Times' Charles Blow and The Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart, ripped the lid off of Oliver's claims that he was a "close friend" of Zimmerman's.
The Trayvon Martin case has become a lightning rod for justice, not only in the black community, but around the world.
Earlier this week, Anderson Cooper interviewed Trayvon's parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, and the ear witnesses who heard Trayvon's pleas for help in the moments before he was slain.
The full interview will air on "Anderson" this Thursday, March 22nd.
Trayvon Martin's Dad on Zimmerman's 'A-Holes' Comment:
Anderson: One of the other things that really caught my attention that he says on these 911 tapes to police. He says, 'These a-holes, they always get away.' Now, I don't know when he said they, I'm not sure if he meant African American males, if he meant teenagers. I don't know what was in his mind but those were the words he used. When you heard that what did you think?
Tracy Martin: That Zimmerman had in his mind at that point that he wasn't going to let whoever that individual was get away. That he just wanted confrontation. He was told by the dispatcher stand down, don't follow this individual, he pursued it anyway.
Last night's episode of Braxton Family Values was one of the best this season, in my opinion. Predictably, Mama Braxton called off her shotgun wedding to her friend, Doc. It's obvious that she has no deep, emotional connection to him at all. It's also obvious that her feelings are not being influenced by Dopamine, the brain chemical that makes us all think we're "crazy" in love. Good for Mama Braxton!
The star of the show, Toni Braxton, introduced her son, Diezel, 9, who commented hilariously on Mama Braxton's cancelled wedding. "Doc is a good man and I want you to have a good man," said Diesel, who was diagnosed with autism at age 3. He is smart as a whip!

Carmelo Anthony's wife, LaLa Anthony, called the paparazzi to let them know she would be walking with her son Kiyan Anthony on the street where the shop Serendipity is located in NYC. Kiyan, who just turned 5 on March 7th, is being given a bigger role on LaLa's reality show this upcoming season. The new season will also focus on the rampant and unceasing rumors of 'Melo's infidelities with random tramps on Twitter.com. LaLa's therapist reportedly advised her to face the rumors head on rather than continue to ignore or deny them. Meanwhile, her husband has slapped down rumors that he would ask to be traded if the NY Knicks front office didn't fire coach D'Antoni, with whom he reportedly didn't get along. D'Antoni turned in his resignation on Tuesday. But 'Melo denied the rumors that he forced the Knicks to get rid of the coach. Knicks fans blame 'Melo for the Knicks losing record. The Knicks are 3-8 after 'Melo returned to the team after rehabbing a groin injury last month. Photos: Splash News Online
According to the Chicago Suntimes, a source close to Whitney Houston's mother, Cissy Houston, revealed that Cissy confronted the traitor who sold the final photo of Whitney in an open casket to the National Enquirer.
The Houston family source said Cissy “had a come-to-Jesus moment” with the guilty party and demanded the alleged six-figure fee for the photo be donated to charity.
Insiders are whispering that the person who sold the final photo was most likely Whitney's closest friend and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, who signed at least one deal to profit off of Whitney's death.
Oprah Winfrey scored the first exclusive interview with the only child of Whitney Houston, who passed away last month at age 48. The special aired on Oprah's OWN network tonight. Bobbi Kristina appeared briefly and spoke to Oprah about carrying on her mother's legacy. The 19-year-old said she can still hear Whitney singing, and sometimes she forgets that Whitney is gone.
During the interview, which was conducted in the Alpharetta home of Whitney's close friend and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, Kristina appeared tense, but happy. She smiled often and she appeared to be under the influence. Oprah hinted at that much: "What's getting you through it?" she asked.
"My family and the Lord and her. I can hear her in my head," said Kristina.
Kristina also said she felt Whitney's spiritual presence in the Alpharetta townhouse that they once shared. Kristina said she has conversations with Whitney, who flips the lights on and off in the house.
"I'm like, 'mom, what are you doing?'" Kristina said she asks Whitney.
Oprah also spent a great deal of time talking with Whitney's sister-in-law, Pat, who threw daggers at 'X-Factor' contestant Stacy Francis, with whom Whitney argued over Ray J. Pat also threw Ray J under the bus by suggesting that Whitney found love in all the wrong places.
Earlier today, TMZ.com broke the news that Bobbi Kristina will seek to change her name to simply "Kristina Houston," in an effort to sever all ties with her father, Bobby Brown.
Watch the interview with Kristina after the break.
Earlier today, Buzzfeed’s Ben Smith announced on Twitter that video researcher Andrew Kaczynski had released “the mysterious Harvard/Obama/race video that the Breitbart folks have been talking about.”
The video, which Kaczynski says was “licensed from a Boston television station,” shows a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell, a radical academic tied to [Obama's mentor Rev.] Jeremiah Wright.
However, the video has been selectively edited--either by the Boston television station or by Buzzfeed itself. Over the course of the day, Breitbart.com will be releasing additional footage that has been hidden by Obama's allies in the mainstream media and academia.
Breitbart.com Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak and Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will appear on The Sean Hannity Show to discuss the tape.
Sean Hannity will air the full video tonight on Fox News' Hannity at 9 p.m. ET.
More photos from the set of the upcoming season of VH1's 'Single Ladies' starring LisaRaye McCoy, newcomer Denise Vasi, who replaced Stacey Dash; and Charity Shea. I still think the show won't be as DVR worthy without Stacey. The fully scripted series is filmed on location in Atlanta.
The upcoming season features cameos by rapper T.I., former rapper-turned-actor Romeo Miller; and reality TV personality LaLa Anthony (pictured above with Denise). More pics after the break.
Feeling the pressure of a tough reelection campaign, President Barack Obama got gully with Fox News' White House correspondent Ed Henry during a press conference today.
According to the Huffington Post, Obama was asked a question about high gas prices, which some have warned will increase if a war with Iran breaks out.
"Your critics will say on Capitol Hill that you want gas prices to go higher, because you have said before that will wean the American people off fossil fuels onto renewable fuels. How do you respond to that?" said Henry.
Referring to himself in the third person (as most narcissists do), President Obama said, “Ed, just from a political perspective, do you think the President of the United States, going into reelection, wants gas prices to go up even higher?"
Turning to the rest of the media, the president asked, "Is there anybody here who thinks that makes a lot of sense?”
Kids say the darnedest things, but does that mean they are ready to be thrust into the pressure cooker of the entertainment industry? We find out in last night's episode, as T.I. and Tiny decide that their two youngest boys are too cute not to be on TV. T.I. and Tiny fly the boys to LA where they audition for a talent scout and pose for a professional photo shoot.
My favorite scene in the episode is when T.I. asks his youngest son Major why he thinks he [T.I.] is his daddy. "Because you're out of jail," the precocious 3-year-old responds.
"They might be too young," says Tiny, very wisely. She reasons that King, who is 7, "really wanted this opportunity." But does he really? And who should decide what a child really wants or needs -- the child or his parents?
Oprah gives viewers a sneak preview of her sit-down interview with Whitney Houston's family; her daughter, Bobbi Kristina; her brother, Gary Houston; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Houston. The special episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter" airs on Oprah's struggling OWN Network next Sunday at 9/8c.
Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.
Although Oprah's TV special gives the impression that Whitney's surviving daughter, Bobbi, is doing well, the current issue of the National Enquirer (on newsstands now) tells a different story. The March 12, 2012 cover features new photos of Bobbi Kristina smoking a big bowl of weed through a bong. It's doubtful that Oprah asked if Bobbi Kristina was going to a drug rehab anytime soon.
Former child star Kirk Cameron has once again riled gay advocacy groups with his controversial statements on gay marriage and homosexuality.
Appearing on CNN's Piers Morgan talk show on Friday, the 41-year-old former 'Growing Pains' star said homosexuality was "unnatural" and "detrimental" to society.
"I think that it's detrimental and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization," Cameron told Morgan.
Cameron, who is an Evangelical Christian, also defended the institution of marriage:
"Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don't think anyone else should either," Cameron said. "So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don't." Source
Opinions are protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Whether gays like it or not, Cameron's opinions on homosexuality are his opinions and he has the right to express them -- according to Morgan.
Morgan called Cameron "brave" and "honest" when he was interviewed by celebrity gossip website TMZ.com, over the weekend.
The NY Daily News reports that struggling talk show titan Oprah has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her "personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney's most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.
Winfrey's team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston's death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.
Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.
The special will air on Oprah's OWN cable network on March 11.
Oprah's crown has been tarnished by poor ratings and traitors who jumped ship from her failing network OWN. In the past, the media seized upon the term "Oprahfication", to describe Oprah's powerful influence on pop culture. But it seems that Oprah has lost her magic touch.
Oprah walked away from her syndicated talk show Oprah, in May 2011 on the advice of a terminally ill boy who told her to end her show's successful run at an even number of years: 25.
Now, the 58-year-old media Guru is trying to save her struggling OWN network by doing more of the face-to-face interviews that made her famous.
The cast of the upcoming season of "Dancing With The Stars" has been announced. If you were born after 1997, you probably don't know who most of them are. The list includes talk show host Sherri Shepherd, who bristled at the suggestion that she might be too old to bust a move on the dance floor. "It is fighting talk," said the 44-year-old mother of one. "When somebody throws down the gauntlet and says, 'You too old,' I was like, 'I got your crayons in my purse and a colouring book on my way out, I’ll leave them in my dressing room.'"
Shepherd joins other over-the-hill stars such as soul legend Gladys Knight (who turned 68 on Tuesday); former tennis champ Martina Navratilova, 55; former "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert (47), and actor Jack Wagner (52). The geriatric set will compete with the youngsters such as 35-year-old Jaleel White ("Family Matters"); Extra presenter Maria Menounos, Disney's Camp Rock star Roshon Fega, Chelsie Hightower, Kym Johnson, Katherine Jenkins and Gavin DeGraw.
