Black woman who told Obama she was exhausted defending him loses her job
A black woman who told U.S. President Obama she was “exhausted” defending him and waiting for him to bring about economic change, has lost her job.
Velma Hart, who told Obama she was worried about her family’s financial future, was laid off from her job as the Chief Financial Officer of a veteran’s service organization this week.
“I’m an American veteran, and I’m one of your middle class Americans,” Hart said in September during the Town Hall meeting. “And quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for. And deeply disappointed with where we are right now.”
Her supervisor denies laying Hart off because she stood up to Obama.
“It’s not anything she did,” said Jim King, the national executive director of Am Vets. “She got bit by the same snake that has bit a lot of people. It was a move to cut our bottom line. Most not-for-profits are seeing their money pinched.”
He declined to say whether others in Hart’s department had also been laid off.
“Velma was a good employee,” he told a writer from the Washington Post. “It was just a matter of looking at the bottom line and where could we make the best cuts and survive.”
The tea party movement seized upon Hart’s comments to Obama as proof that Obama was losing touch with his hard core supporters – African American voters.
Despite chasing the black vote, Obama and the Democrats suffered a humiliating defeat during November’s midterm Congressional elections.

Flasher messes with the wrong woman on subway
This video was shot 2 months ago but it is just now going viral on YouTube thanks to the combined efforts of Gawker.com and the Huffington Post.
In the video, a courageous young lady goes off on a flasher after he rubbed his junk up against her on a New York subway train. The unidentified woman wondered aloud why the man was rubbing up against her when there was so much space on the train. “Then I see his penis out!” she screamed.
At the mere mention of penis, all the manly men on the train whip their cell phone cameras out and start shooting.
The extremely embarrassed flasher implores the lady to retract her accusation since it wasn’t his penis clad in a condom that she saw.
“Oh, you’re getting f*cking arrested! I’m not leaving your side,” she responds. “My plans are done for the night. I’m escorting you to the police station. Oh, yes! Oh, f*cking yes!”
No word on what happened to the hapless flasher.

Quincy Jones: ‘Don’t compare Kanye West to me’
Industry icons from Rolling Stone to Russell Simmons has heaped praise on Kanye West during his dramatic comeback. But not everyone is impressed with the emotionally disturbed rapper.
One of those people who isn’t impressed, the legendary producer Quincy Jones, was rightfully insulted when US magazine tried to compare him — a gifted musician and symphony orchestra conductor — with Kanye West who plays on a drum machine all day.
Us: Kanye West is similar to you in that he’s the producer everybody wants to work with in the last decade….
QJ: How man? No way. Did he write for a symphony orchestra? Does he write for a jazz orchestra? Come on, man. He’s just a rapper. There’s no comparison. I’m not putting him down or making a judgement or anything, but we come from two different sides of the planet. I spent 28 years learning my first skill. I don’t rap. It’s not the same thing. A producer has to have some sort of skills that enable him to be a producer. It’s totally different to know what to do with 16 woodwinds you know from piccolos down to bass clarinet. It’s a whole different mindset. No comparison. None.
When asked what he thought of Kanye, the 77-year-old producer of Michael Jackson’s Epic album Thriller, said, “I don’t think about him much. He’s a great rapper, but there are a lot of good rappers.”
Fantasia: “I Aborted My Married Lover Antwaun Cook’s Baby”
According to RadarOnline.com, singer Fantasia has admitted to aborting Antwaun Cook’s baby.
RadarOnline, which is owned by The National Enquirer, quotes a source who says Fantasia was in court this morning where she admitted to aborting her lover’s baby around the time of her failed suicide attempt.

The American Idol winner made the sensational confession in a North Carolina court on Monday during Cook’s divorce proceeding with his ex-wife Paula.
Facing questions before a Mecklenburg County Court judge, the famous singer, 26, was pressed on whether she knew Cook was living with Paula when they embarked on their illicit affair.
The Idol season three winner has acknowledged she dated Cook “off and on for about 11 months” but said she believed he had separated from his wife.
In court, lawyers for the scorned wife pressed Fantasia about a hotel rendezvous that took place just a few days after meeting one another.
“Paula’s lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married,” one onlooker – who was inside the court – told RadarOnline.com.
There were no reporters in the courtroom and witnesses were asked to leave as Fantasia took the stand.
