Solange’s new album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams has finally leaked online – and the links are being pulled down as fast as the kids can put them up. I see this album doing at least 100K the first week based on the downloads.

Lord knows I’ve been waiting for this leak — I promise to buy the album, but I had to have this album now to add to my Emergency Survival Kit!

And i hate to wish bad things, but i wouldn’t be mad if jazzmine’s leaked as well…let’s face it, more than likely it will, but just like sandra, i would definitely still go support and buy the cd..the leaked version would just tie me over until the real thing drops.

I downloaded a couple of Jazmine’s songs (Lawd, please forgive me lol), it sounds like her cd is going to be koo. I love her tone.

I heard this album this morning, got it in my inbox.It’s ok.I rather download it to see if you really like it because can’t waste money these days.

Either way all CDs leak, it can’t be stopped especially this day and age.

Has anyone heard Solonge sing live? I mean anybody can rock in a studio (even me, lol) but the true test (see Kelly Rowland @ the BET awards) is how she will sound live.

& who is Jazmine? Does she have a song out or is she some local celeb only known in ATL?

I disagree. I don’t think she is a gimmick and THAT’S going to be the reason why she DOESN’T sale!

She was on Sirius last night and I heard a few of her songs. It feels like she’s trying too much to do her “own thing” that she’s succeeding- it’s her own thing, like only SHE gets it! It’s not marketed to any particular audience. It’s like, where are you trying to go with your sound? It doesn’t fit anywhere!

And save the BS about her being “different” and “fresh and new”, yeah I get it- BUT, she hasn’t been doing any underground stuff to where she’s set up a significant enough fan-base that she can come out doing some far-left sh*t and make it.

I love “different” sounds too. That why I like MIA,Santogold, but this is not groundbreaking it just sucks and not that different. It sounds like she just tried to go the Amy Winehouse route, but not as interesting. Did she actually give Mark Ronson a call, or she just figured she would try to duplicate the sound.
